Master Gave Me a Second Chance at Life

By a new Falun Dafa practitioner from Sichuan Province, China

(Clearwisdom.net) I live in Wenjiang County of Chengdu in Sichuan Province, and I used to suffer from many different diseases. When I was still single, my parents would bring me to different doctors whenever I became ill. When I got married and went to live with my husband and his family, my health became even worse due to the heavy load of housework. I always had headaches and difficulty breathing. I also had gastritis, enteritis, faucitis and nephritis, which broke out now and then. Because of the economic burden that was caused by my health problems, my husband and mother-in-law began to be irritated by me and started bullying me. My husband's mother treated me so coldly, and I suffered so much from the serious illnesses, that I began to feel the same hostility toward myself. I began to lose my sanity and often spoke nonsense. Even my daughter was afraid of me.

On the evening of January 5 (Lunar calendar), 2001, I went to visit one of my aunts, who lives very near us. My aunt is a practitioner of Falun Gong. She opened my mind and told me about Falun Dafa. Her kindness and compassion made me feel so comfortable that I stayed the night at her place. That night, my aunt read books of Falun Dafa to me, all of which I was very pleased to listen to. Gradually, I found my mind becoming clearer and clearer.

I took the book from my aunt's hand and opened it. I saw the words "With Zhen-Shan-Ren in heart, Falun Dafa succeeds." (from Hong Yin). This sentence deeply impacted my heart. I repeated this sentence to myself over and over. For the whole night, I was bathed in the Buddha light. From then on, my mind became clear. The illnesses disappeared without me noticing. I then bought Zhuan Falun and read the book whenever I could. At the same time, I asked my aunt to teach me the Falun Gong exercises.

I fully recovered and my face shone with radiance. I never complained again about feeling sick when doing housework. My family members could all see the change in me. They asked me where I got my medical treatment. I told them that Falun Dafa was what saved my life. Please remember that Falun Dafa is good. It is our Master who has saved me and given me a second chance at life.
