New Practitioner: Reborn after Stepping onto the Path of Cultivation Practice

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a new 46-year-old Dafa disciple from Jilin City. I obtained the Fa in February 2005. Practicing Falun Dafa has made my body healthy and has upgraded my moral character.

In June 2004, I fell extremely ill. One day on my way home after work, my whole body broke into a sweat and I felt so weak that I was unable to ride my bicycle. Once I got home, I continued perspiring for 15 days, and was unable to do any physical activity. I sweat even while lying in bed; my whole body perspired while sleeping. Although it was June, I felt cold even wearing a cotton-padded jacket. The perspiration soaked my clothes. I visited all the hospitals in Jilin City, big and small. I visited both Chinese and Western medical doctors, and even tried various kinds of folk prescriptions, but nothing helped. My condition became more and more serious; I found myself having to lie in bed the entire day. After taking some Chinese medicine, I was unable to sleep for 3 months, sitting from day to night, and then enduring from night to dawn. Whenever I tried to walk away from bed, my whole body felt limp. Every step was quite difficult. I continued in this way for six months. I developed various diseases including heart disease, gastritis, amygdalitis, gallstones, cholecystitus, pharyngolaryngitis, parodontitis, and cervical vertebra proliferation distortion. As I was unable to take care of myself, my 72-year-old mother looked after me by my side. During this six-month period, I took a lot of medicines and was given injections. I used up all my family's savings on medical expenses, without seeing my situation change for the better. At that time, I did not have any hope for life. Several times I thought about committing suicide, but was stopped in time by my family.

During this difficult period, having heard my story, a Falun Gong practitioner told me to recite, "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." From then on, I recited these two phrases every day. Then I started to be able to sleep, and a problem with my foot, which had lasted for over 20 years, vanished. It was really miraculous. After that, I read the book, Zhuan Falun, every day, and persisted in doing the five sets of exercises every day.

Since I began practicing Falun Dafa, my body has started to become stronger day by day. After just one month, all the illnesses in my body have vanished miraculously.

Seeing my amazing recovery, my whole family is overjoyed. We are grateful to Master Li and Falun Dafa from the bottom of our hearts. No language can express my happiness at this very moment. I can only use my own actions to promote Dafa. Whenever I meet somebody, I tell him or her that it is Falun Dafa that has saved me, and that it is Master Li Hongzhi who has given me a second life. I will wholeheartedly continue on the path of cultivation practice from now on.
