By a Falun Gong practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Gong in 1999. Because of Teacher's compassionate protection, I was able to pick myself up again each time I fell down on my path of cultivation practice. Each time the evil from other dimensions manipulated depraved people to recklessly subject me to their persecution, I felt Teacher right next me, bestowing his compassionate smile upon me. Because of Teacher's compassionate protection, I have been successful in all of my humble efforts to validate the Fa.

In the summer of 2002, my father became very ill and was on the brink of death. When I rushed to the hospital, my father had already fallen into a coma due to a severe stroke. While my father was struggling for his life, I became emotional and was overcome with sadness. The hospital kept my father in the intensive care unit for six days and the medical bill quickly rose to nearly 8,000 yuan. The doctor finally told my mother that there was nothing more he could do for my father. My father was 70 years old at the time. His blood pressure had reached 280 and his temperature was at 100.4^oF. The doctor had tried many types of drugs, but nothing could bring his temperature down. He had phlegm stuck in his throat that was suffocating him. At that point, everyone knew that no medicine could save my father's life. So we carried my father home and began to prepare for the funeral.

At that pivotal moment, a fellow Falun Gong practitioner called me at home. After we exchanged our understanding of my father's condition from the Fa, I developed a better understanding of this issue. I realized that my father also needed and awaited Teacher's salvation and that I should let go of my sentimentality. All creatures in the Three Realms have come for the Fa. Only Teacher can determine the fate of all creatures. We must not allow the evil from other dimensions to take away my father's life and thereby deprive him of his chance to accept Teacher's salvation. Besides, my father had done a terrible thing: He had destroyed Falun Gong books because he was worried that I might be subjected to additional imprisonment if he didn't destroy them. It was imperative that my father stay alive and make up for his terrible act.

I spoke clearly next to my father's ear, "Dad, repeat in your heart, 'Falun Dafa is good. Teacher, please save my life.'" My father's eyeballs seemed to twitch when he heard these words. During the night, while the rest of my family was asleep, I stayed up looking after my father. After sending forth righteous thoughts at midnight, I started reading Zhuan Falun out loud to my father. I did not pursue any end result. I thought, "All the sentient beings are listening to me reading the Fa." I felt my heart was pure that night. I stayed up reading the Fa until the next morning when my family woke up and gathered around me. Miraculously, my father woke up from the coma when my family approached the bed. We immediately took his blood pressure and temperature. His blood pressure had come down to 170 and his temperature was 96.8^oF.

It is our compassionate Teacher who saved my father's life. The following day while I read Zhuan Falun out loud again, my father saw many Falun flying and rotating in the air. He also saw Teacher's law body.

It has been three years since my father started studying Falun Gong books. All of his silver hair turned black again. All of my neighbors and relatives witnessed the magnificent power of Falun Gong through my father.
