At 8 o'clock on March 12, 2005, Tang Shenjie, a police chief from Longtai Town police headquarters in Anyue County of Sichuan Province drove his car into a river and died.

Tang Shenjie participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners for a long period of time. He routinely sent police to follow, monitor, stake out Falun Gong practitioners and even applied pressure to the practitioners' family members and work authorities. He has taken officers to Falun Gong practitioners homes, as in the case of Falun Gong practitioner, Mei Chaogang's, who's home was searched for Falun Gong books and relevant materials. He then proceeded to pressure Mei Chaogang to give up Falun Gong and insisted that he hand over all his Falun Gong books. Last year Tang Shenjie participated in persecuting Longtai Falun Gong practitioner Yu Tinggui, who had distributed some truth clarifying materials. He sent police to confiscate Yu's family property and sent Mr. Yu to a labor camp for a two-year term of forced labor.

Tang Shenjie followed Jiang's regime to persecute Falun Gong. He died at just forty-two. We advise other police officers: Do not participate in persecuting Falun Gong. Whoever participates in the persecution of Falun Gong will surely meet with karmic retribution.

Since the persecution of Falun Gong was officially launched in 1999, the Broadcast and Television Bureau of Anyue County of Sichuan Province has participated in slandering Falun Gong. Their lies have poisoned many people who did not know the truth about Falun Gong.

Wu Zhongming, former bureau chief of the Broadcast and Television Bureau, was charged with corruption and accepting bribes. He was then sentenced to 14 years in prison. Mr. Wang, a section chief, was discharged from his public employment, charged with accepting bribes and sentenced to one year in prison.

Since Jiang Zemin and his regime started to persecute Falun Gong, Lu Fengying, the Women's Federation director of Ji Village, Wubai Town, Xionghe County of Hebei Province made comprehensive investigations into the whereabouts and details of Falun Gong practitioners in the area. She then sent this information to the local police station and helped the police to arrest the practitioners. The result ended in a practitioner being seized. Later, Lu Fengying felt pain in one of her legs and before long she was paralyzed. She has been paralyzed for a year.

Liu Zhiman was the former Party secretary of Liu Zituan Village, Xihe Town, Wei County of Hebei Province. Sometime in August of 2002, two town government officials came to audit the village accounts. Liu Zhiman saw two female Falun Gong practitioners posting materials about Falun Gong on the street. He reported this to the two officials immediately, which resulted in the practitioners being arrested and beaten mercilessly. Then the 610 Office sent the two female practitioners to Baoding Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp to undergo two-years of forced labor.

Party secretary Liu Zhiman was squeezed against a wall by his own horse-drawn vehicle while he was undertaking some farm work. His lungs were seriously injured and he died on the way to hospital.

Zhang Ying, an assistant director of Shahe Village, Dabao Town, Zhuolu County of Hebei Province, was responsible for the school political work and frequently forced the students to write essays that slandered Falun Gong. One day in 2004, Zhang Ying, who had always been in good health, suddenly collapsed on the rostrum and died in front of the students. Upon examination, his body was found to be covered with purple spots.
