Mr. Li Peisheng is 39 years old. He started to practice Falun Gong in 1999. As a result of his practice, Mr. Li has been illegally detained many times. In 2002, he was thrown into the Harbin City Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp, and in 2004, Mr. Li almost lost his life from the tortures he received in the camp and was diagnosed with tuberculosis. In August of 2004, the labor camp sent Mr. Li home in order to avoid possible consequences that would follow if Mr. Li died in the jail. Even after half a year's meticulous care at home, his weight was still only about 78 pounds. Currently, Mr. Li is still bedridden. In order to examine Mr. Li's physical condition, doctors operated on his lower abdomen and found that Mr. Li's intestines were fragmented and appeared blackish. Also, Mr. Li's lung lobes appeared blackish as well. Mr. Li looks just like a skeleton.

On March 20, 2005, Dafa practitioner Wang Jing from Xinmin City of Liaoning Province was abducted from home by public security officers from the Dongnan Street Public Security Station. Currently, Wang Jing is being detained in the Shenyang City Sujiatun Detention Center.

Ms. Yang Dongxiang, 48 years old, is from Xianning City. On October 21, 2004, police officer Cheng Lebin from Chalukou Public Security Station of Wenquan Development Zone arrested Ms. Yang, and immediately sent her to the No. 2 Division of Shayang Forced Labor Camp of Hebei Province. Recently, Ms. Yang was transferred to the Wuhan Women's Forced Labor Camp.

From July of 1999 to the present, Ms. Yang has been detained 6 times; twice she was sentenced to prison terms. During her first prison term, she was tortured so severely that she almost lost her eyesight. Her second prison term was forced upon her in secret, and her husband has not yet been notified.

Ms. Hu Zhongyu is a retired worker of the Zhongqing City Bureau of Electricity, Sichuan Province. Ms. Hu's husband Mr. Wang Zhande was also a Dafa practitioner. Mr. Wang was sent to the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp after he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and died in February of 2002.

On January 10, 2004, while Ms. Hu was clarifying the truth to the public in the Yangjiaping Community, Jiulongpo District of Zhongqing City, police officers and armed policemen beat her until her head started bleeding. Ms. Hu was then taken to the Jiulongpo District Detention Center and illegally detained there. In November of 2004, Jiulongpo District Court illegally sentenced Ms. Hu to 3 years in prison. Right now, Ms. Hu is being held in the Zhongqing City Yongchuan Women's Prison.

Mr. Zhang Yong is over 30 years old. Around 6 p.m. on March 22, 2005, while Mr. Zhang and his wife were on their way home, 5 or 6 policemen suddenly approached them and forcefully threw the couple into a police vehicle. Afterwards, the police began to inquire about where Mr. Zhang lived and without any due legal procedure whatsoever, the police then broke into Mr. Zhang's house and ransacked it. Except for one booklet of the "Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party", nothing was found.

Ms. Huang Xuezhu, over 50 years old, lives in Chengquan Town, You County of Henan Province. Around 4 a.m. on March 20, 2005, while Ms. Huang Xuezhu was passing out truth clarification flyers, police officers arrested her. Afterwards, the police broke into Ms. Huang's house and illegally ransacked her home for several hours. Right now, Ms. Huang is being held in the You County Detention Center.

Ms. Dian Zhimin, who has been illegally detained at the Changchun City Hezuizi Forced Labor Camp, Jilin Province, is currently on a hunger strike to protest the persecution against her.

Mr. Ma Zhangquan and Ms. Tian Shurong are married. They used to work in the Jintongyuan Construction Company, Pingqu District of Beijing City. One year ago, they were released from the prison. During the past year, 610 Office staff and agents from the Public Security Department and National Security Brigade frequently visited the company where they worked and harassed the couple. On the night of February 21, 2005, the couple went to visit a fellow practitioner. As soon as they entered the fellow practitioner's house, the couple was arrested by those police officers who had been following them. At the same time, the fellow practitioner and his wife were also arrested.

Afterwards, 610 Office official Wang Xiaohua, together with other 4 police officers (Zhang Peihua from No. 1 Branch of Public Security Department, etc.), went directly to Mr. Ma's home and illegally ransacked his house. Throughout the search, no legal documents or search warrant were presented to the couple.

Ms. Liu Shuzhen is 48 years old and works at the Xiangfang Bearing Factory. On February 24, 2005, Ms. Liu was thrown into the Wangjia Forced Labor Camp. She received electric baton shocks the very first day in the camp, and afterwards, was handcuffed to her bed and forced to squat for 7 consecutive days. Later, Ms. Liu was hung up for more than 3 hours, and received more electric baton shocks. Right now, Ms. Liu is still being tortured at the intensive training division of the camp.

Ms. Wen Guizhi is 62 years old. Because Ms. Wen refused to utter slanderous words against Dafa and the Teacher, she was hung up and shocked with electric batons.

Mr. Yu Yuejin is 48 years old and used to be a nurse at the Qinhuangdao City Infectious Disease Hospital. Around the Mid-autumn festival (Mid-August) of 2004, Mr. Yu started a hunger strike, and on September 28 and October 2, Mr. Yu was tortured and seriously beaten. He passed out as a result of the torture. Around 3 a.m. on October 4, Mr. Yu fell into a coma and was rushed into the 211 Hospital and underwent 12 hours of emergency operations within the hospital. Mr. Yu has a 4 years old daughter and she has been sent to an orphanage.

In 2002, Ms. Sun Qian from Fushun City was arrested and illegally detained in the Shenyang City Dabei Prison. As a direct result of brutal tortures, Ms. Sun has developed very serious tuberculosis and falls into deep sleep, all day long.

Ms. Lin Shuzhen is from Suining City of Sichuan Province. She used to work in Sangdong Province, and has recently retired and returned to her hometown Suining City. On November 30, 2004, Ms. Lin was arrested by police officers that had been monitoring her activities. Ms. Lin was then sentenced to 3 years in prison. At the end of December of 2004, Ms. Lin was sent to the Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp.

Also, Dafa practitioners Zhou Chufu and his wife from Kai County of Sichuan Province were also each sentenced to 3 years in prison. They are on probation and are at home now.
