(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners Ms. Ju Xiufen and Ms. Ju Xiaotong are sisters, and they are from the Taohuayu Village, Tuanlin Town, Chunan County, Linyi City, Shandong Province. Because of the persecution, they were forced to become homeless after lodging an appeal on behalf of Falun Gong.

One September evening in 2001, the police from the Linyi City Wulibao Police Station took both sisters to the Linyi City Wulibao Police Station under false pretenses.

Officials from the 610 Office of Linyi City and the Linyi City Wulibao Police Station interrogated Ms. Ju Xiufen and Ms. Ju Xiaotong in separate rooms several times. Every night, two policemen were present in each room. The drunken policemen twisted four wires into a stronger one and then whipped the sisters viciously on their knees, feet, arms and joints. When one policeman got tired, the other would take over. The two sisters had to sit on the cold cement floors for a long time, with their toes stepped on repeatedly by the policemen's heavy boots. They tortured the sisters with the "Carrying a Sword in the Back" (1) position. When they were sitting on the chairs, a policeman sat on a table behind them. He pressed his feet against the sisters' lower backs, and then their hands were forcefully pulled up. The pain was excruciating, causing the sisters to cry out in pain.

The two policemen torturing Ju Xiufen were afraid that their evil deeds might be exposed to the public, so they dared not mention their names or their work unit.

One of the policemen torturing Ju Xiaotong was the infamous Xing Yongnong. While the other policemen was beating Ms. Ju, he burned her with cigarettes.

The two sisters were tortured for four days in the Linyi City Wulibao Police Station, and their screams of pain were heard throughout the night. When the police transferred them to the detention center, they could hardly walk. They were tortured so badly that the inmates expressed heartfelt sympathy for them.

After Ms. Ju Xiufen went on a hunger strike for eighteen days to protest the persecution, the police told the inmates to force-feed her on several occasions. When her life was in danger, the police called her mother to take her home in order to avoid responsibility in case she died.

In the same year, Ms. Ju Xiaotong was taken to the Jinan City Forced Labor Camp. Three months later, the forced labor camp released her, only after she developed a heart condition as a result of being subjected to torture.

In June 2004, Ms. Ju Xiaotong was illegally arrested again by the local police in Taian. On September 15, 2004 when she was on trial, she was taken to court with oxygen support, accompanied by medical staff. She had been tortured to her last breath. Her younger sister Ju Beibei was also sentenced at the same time. They both received heavy jail terms. Currently, they are being held in the Jinan City Women's Jail.
