Practitioner Mr. Shi Biao from Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province Beaten to Death by 610 Office Workers

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Shi Biao, 35 years old, was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Wuyun Town, Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province. He went to Beijing to appeal in 2000, and was brutally beaten, detained, and extorted money by the police. He was forbidden to have visitors. His whole body was swollen and covered with purple bruises, and he suffered internal injury in his chest. He condition worsen after he was released, and he died on December 17, 2003. He is survived by his wife, who has no permanent job, and a young son.

Jinyun County 610 Office officials instructed the County Legal Bureau to hold brainwashing classes in 2001 and 2003, located at former Xiaojun Township. They selected government officials from each department and formed a group to abduct practitioners to the brainwashing classes. They always abducted practitioners secretly in the middle of the night, and forced them to read, listen to or watch materials against Falun Gong. Firmly cultivating practitioners were sent to forced labor camps or prisons.

They repeatedly tortured practitioners, both physically and mentally, and had them sentenced to forced labor or prison. They beat practitioners at will, and tortured them with cruel means. Some practitioners had bruised noses and swollen eyes that could not see clearly. One practitioner was ordered to kneel on a stick for several days, was not allowed to eat, sleep or use the toilet. His legs were bleeding, and the stick had been pressed into his legs, but he was still not allowed to go. He suffered a mental collapse afterwards. Some practitioners were brutally beaten by more than a dozen young men at a time.
