(Clearwisdom.net) Suwon-si Train Station in Gyeonggi-do is a major transit center and is always packed with people. On April 5, 2005, Falun Dafa practitioners held a series of activities at the station to clarify the truth to local people on a large scale.
About 500 practitioners from all over Korea participated in this event. Practitioners held a press conference, an anti-torture exhibition, a photo display about the persecution, a large-scale group practice, as well as a signature drive to rescue practitioner Gao Chengnu. Many people learned about the persecution in detail and took truth-clarifying materials with them.

As the Chinese Embassy has been continuously interfering with practitioners' activities, practitioners first read an open letter to the Chinese Ambassador to Korea. A press conference was then held to expose the persecution against Falun Gong.
Before the activities started, practitioners also held a small concert with music and songs composed by practitioners, which attracted many people.
After watching the anti-torture exhibition and seeing the persecution photos, many people asked why such a brutal persecution against practitioners was still ongoing. After hearing the explanations, many of them commented that it was hard to believe that there was still such an inhuman persecution taking place in this 21st century, with thousands being murdered.

The large-scale group practice was a rare sight for Suwon-si citizens, and many watched the practitioners perform all five sets of exercises. Some people who wanted to learn also asked for more information about the practice.
Finally, practitioners concluded the one-day event by forming a "Wall of Courage."
Because the Suwon-si Train Station has never had such a large-scale event before, the local police bureau was quite concerned before the event and most of the high-ranking police officers came and stayed at the site during the event. As soon as the day's activities concluded peacefully, people passed their appreciation to the chief of police for facilitating such a peaceful and well-run event. The activities planned for clarifying the truth to the citizens of Suwon-si thus also effectively clarified the truth to the police.
