(Clearwisdom.net) On April 10, 2005, Falun Dafa practitioners from three different cities took part in a health exhibition in the city of Mikkeli. This was the first time that Falun Gong practitioners had been to this exhibition so many local people saw the Falun Gong exercises for the first time.

There were two floors in the exhibition building. The Falun Gong stall was in a conspicuous place near the entrance on the ground floor. Around the stall were golden banners reading "Falun Gong" and "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance".

A few practitioners in golden exercise suits performed the exercises to the graceful Falun Gong music and this attracted the attention of many people. They watched for a long time, asked for leaflets and even took extra leaflets for their relatives and friends. Some people bought books and exercise demonstration videotapes from the Falun Gong stall. Beautiful lotus flower were given to children and the elderly. They felt Falun Gong's beauty in their hearts.

Clarifying the facts

It was very touching that people signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution on their own initiative upon hearing about the human rights abuses against Falun Gong practitioners in China. After signing the petition, a mother explained the persecution against kind people in China to her teenage daughter and the daughter signed the petition immediately. Practitioners had a sincere hope that these warm-hearted people's righteous thinking would win them a bright future.

People who wanted to learn the exercises left their contact information and arranged to meet with practitioners. Many people are surprised when they find out that one of the principles of Falun Gong is that it is always taught for free as this type of thing is so rare in today's society. Practitioners hope that Falun Gong will spread more widely and quickly in Finland so that more Finnish people can benefit from this wonderful practice.
