Falun Dafa Practitioner and Army Official Mr. Ding Han Dies as a Result of Persecution (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Ding Han, 77, lived in Dalian City. He was a deputy director and an army official at the Navy Headquarters' Political Bureau in Luishun City, Liaoning Province. He started practicing Falun Dafa in May 1996.

After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, the Laohutan Retired Navy Officials' Home in Dalian City held three Party group meetings, and persecuted Mr. Ding. He experienced symptoms of a stroke and passed away in November 1999.

Below is Ding Han's speech at the Dalian Falun Dafa Conference in March 1999.

My Wife and I Were Fortunate to Learn and Practice Dafa

My name is Ding Han and I am 77 years old. My wife is Yang Jing and she is 67 years old. We are both retired officials and live at the Laohutan Retired Navy Officials' Home in Dalian City. I was persecuted and incarcerated for three years during the Cultural Revolution, and my wife and family were implicated. For many years my wife and I suffered from depression, and from other illnesses.

In May 1996 we both learned Falun Dafa, and we started the cultivation practice. Through continuous Fa study and by doing the exercises I became more tolerant and kind toward others, and my view of the world changed completely. My mind was purified and I felt lighthearted, as I never had before. Falun Dafa helped me get rid of much emotional baggage and gave me a new life.

After I started practicing Falun Dafa, I fell backward twice onto the concrete ground. I heard a loud "bang" as my head hit the ground, but I didn't experience any pain or discomfort, and my mind became even clearer. Previously, I could work on a document for only two hours, but now I can write continuously for three hours without getting tired.

My wife had suffered for 28 years from a head injury that measured 6 x 6 cm. (2.4 x 2.4 in.). After she started practicing Dafa, a piece of glass that was imbedded in her head emerged. During the process of removing the glass, many phenomena took place that cannot be explained by modern science.

One miracle after another manifested in us through the mighty power of Falun Dafa, a profound and supernatural science. We are now full of energy, we eat and sleep well, and we have not taken any medication in over two years.

Teacher gave us a second life. We cherish this rare opportunity and try to help more people to learn Dafa. We tell people about Dafa when we are on vacation, during holidays, at friends' gatherings, and during our visits back home. We thank Teacher for his boundless benevolence and mighty power, which allows many people to know and learn about Dafa. Among them were army commanders, political secretaries at the army corps, political secretaries of the marines, headquarter commanders, and army corps commanders and their family members. Our relatives and former subordinates in the navy also learned about Dafa.

Right now we are using our home as a practice site where more than 20 new and veteran practitioners gather, study the teachings of Falun Dafa, and exchange experiences. I am very happy to serve them.

Dafa is boundless. We will take solid steps on the path arranged by Teacher until Consummation.
