New York: Thousands Rally to Support One Million Withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday April 23, 2005, several thousand people rallied in Manhattan's Chinatown to support the withdrawal of one million people from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In addition, reenactments of the large-scale historic persecutions against Chinese civilians by the CCP were staged, including reenactments of the ongoing brutal persecution against Falun Gong practitioners that has been taking place over the past six years.

On a float, a female Falun Gong practitioner proudly held a "Falun Dafa is Great" banner, while someone impersonating a policeman held a police baton above his head. This scene vividly depicted the persistent, peaceful and fearless efforts on the part of practitioners to tell people the truth of Falun Dafa. Next to this practitioner, other practitioners demonstrated several others of the many torture methods used in China to coerce practitioners to renounce their belief in the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," the main teachings of Falun Dafa.

In the past 6 years, the CCP has used the most brutal and inhumane torture methods in human history to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. With the policy of "Bankrupt them [Falun Gong practitioners] financially, defame their reputation, and eliminate them physically," the death toll of practitioners has been increasing by scores and even hundreds every month. According to an incomplete statistic, 1,882 practitioners have been persecuted to death by the CCP for their belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."

However, from the moment that the CCP started to persecute "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," it was doomed to fail. Practitioners in China are risking their lives to spread the truth to the public; outside China, Falun Dafa has spread to more than 60 countries and more and more people of all races are now practicing Falun Dafa. Meanwhile, more and more people are learning about the truth of the persecution and are expressing their support for Falun Dafa. Many governments as well as officials have issued proclamations supporting Falun Dafa. The voice of justice is becoming louder and louder, condemning the CCP's brutal persecution of practitioners, and lawsuits against the individual perpetrators of the persecution have been filed one after another around the world.

Today in Mainland China, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party have triggered the tide of individual withdrawals from the CCP. In New York as well as many other places around the world, people rallied today to support the one million withdrawals. On the verge of collapse, the CCP has just launched the largest nationwide campaign of arrests since the persecution began in July 1999.

By initiating the persecution of Falun Gong, the CCP has set itself on a course of self-destruction. The recent large-scale arrests are only a death struggle, and will surely speed up the party's demise.
