By a Falun Dafa Practitioner from Chaoyang County, Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) At around 3 to 4 a.m. on June 1996, around 40 practitioners went to the practice site at Balipu Village to do the Falun Gong exercises. A high-voltage transmission pole was nearby. When the practitioners were doing the fifth meditation exercise, they heard sounds of firecrackers, but did not pay attention to it and continued to practice. After a while, one practitioner opened his eyes and saw sparks from the wires snaking around and creating debris. The sparks landed on some of the practitioners' clothes. Although the wires were on fire, they did not fall on the practitioners. No one was hurt. The loud sound woke a villager near the practice site and other villagers could see the blazing fire in that area

About ten minutes later, a female practitioner screamed and everybody stopped practicing. They saw that the pole was bending and all the wires broke and fell around the practitioners. The female practitioner got up from her sitting position and moved away from where she was because the pole was falling down

All the practitioners moved away from the scene and were safe. Everyone who witnessed the incident marveled at the fact that the practitioners were unhurt by the accident.
