Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Ge Peiling Was Persecuted to Death in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ge Peiling, 50 years old, worked in the Jianglian Corporation in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. She was persecuted to death on January 7, 2005, leaving behind her husband who was over 50 years old and her son, a secondary school student.

Before she started practicing Falun Dafa, Ge Peiling suffered continuously from severe cardiovascular system disease, stomach disease and hypertension. When the state of her illnesses became serious, she would suffer partial paralysis and become very irritable. Her relationship with her family members was extremely strained.

But after she started cultivating Falun Dafa in 1996, Ms. Ge's diseases disappeared, her disposition became gentle and her dealings with her family members were also harmonious. They were very surprised to see these changes.

Since Jiang and his followers began to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, the Jingshan Police Department and the security section of Ge Peiling's work unit continuously harassed her and her family and searched her house, confiscating her personal property. In 2000, Ge Peiling went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was arrested and detained. During this time, she was injected with drugs that damaged her nervous system.

In the summer of 2001, Ms. Ge was turned in just for talking with another Falun Gong practitioner on the street. The next morning, she was secretly abducted by the Jingshan Police Station and the security section of her work unit and sent to the Qingyunpu Detention Center and then to the Women's Re-education Bureau of Nanchang City. In the detention center, Ge Peiling was beaten by policemen and criminals incited to do so by the police. The criminal inmates even bashed her head against the wall and on the ground. This brutal torture resulted in her blood pressure rising suddenly to 260. Due to the strong demands of her family members, the detention center had to release Ms. Ge for medical treatment. After that, Ge Peiling's head often ached and she couldn't see clearly.

Later, the Jingshan Police Station and the security section of Ge Peiling's work unit continued to repeatedly harass Ms. Ge and her family and search her house, again confiscating personal property. Even just one month before she died, when she was on the verge of death, the security section of her work unit abducted Ms. Ge in order to interrogate her. She was tortured, and more items were confiscated from her house. Tragically, Ge Peiling passed away on January 7, 2005, due to the continuous physical and mental persecution.
