Sweden: Practitioners Hold Activities in Gothenburg to Commemorate the April 25 Appeal (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 24, Falun Gong practitioners from Gothenburg and nearby places held an activity in the center of Gothenburg to raise awareness about the persecution and inform the public of the anniversary of the "April 25" appeal. It was six years ago that 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners peacefully gathered at the Chinese Communist Party's central appeal office in Beijing to appeal for a legal and harmonious cultivation environment and the release of fellow practitioners who were illegally arrested in a nearby city.

During the activity in Gothenburg, practitioners distributed leaflets, demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and collected petition signatures from people who wanted to join the global call for an end to the brutal persecution in China.

In the flyer about the "April 25" Appeal, it states: "Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful, righteous and open appeal at Zhongnanhai will forever serve as a historic reference point for the upholding of their principles, their conviction and their rights. On the sixth anniversary of Falun Gong practitioners' appeal at Zhongnanhai, practitioners all over the world repeat the same urgent message: 'Stop the persecution of Falun Gong in China.'"
