(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Lei Zongjuan, 68, lived in Laozhouzhuang Village, Nanwucun Township, Jizhou City, Hebei Province. After beginning Falun Dafa practice in 1995, her illnesses disappeared. She got rid of her 28 year-old medicine jar. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, she went to Beijing to validate the Fa, but later gave up her cultivation under pressure and harassment. Her old ailments returned, and she died in September, 2001.

Ms. Zhang Suqi, 60, lived on Xingong Street, Xinglongtai District, Panjin City, Liaoning Province. She previously had arthritis, difficulty walking and lifting things, and doing household chores. After practicing Falun Dafa her arthritis disappeared, and she regained her health. When Jiang and his regime started persecuting Falun Gong in 1999, she was too afraid to practice. Her arthritis returned, along with new ailments. She died in December, 2002.

Mr. Zhang Yulu and his wife Zhang Cuiping were both in their 50s and lived in Sunjia Village, Xinli Farm, Dawa County, Panjin City, Liaoning Province. They both began Falun Dafa practice in 1997. After July 20, 1999, village officials forced each of them to write a guarantee statement. They were both farmers, suffering under the terror from the Communist Party for decades, and dared not continue cultivation. They were very frightened and depressed. Ms. Zhang Cuiping jumped into a fish pond and committed suicide in 2003, and her husband became very depressed and died several months later.

Ms. Liu Sulan, 74, lived in Xiaotian Village, Baigutun Township, Wuqing District, Tianjin City. She previously had heart disease and bladder cancer, but her illnesses disappeared after beginning Falun Dafa practice in early 1998. She became very healthy and energetic. Ms. Liu was illiterate. She lost her cultivation environment after the suppression of Falun Dafa started in July 1999. She had to give up the practice, and her cancer returned. She died in September, 2001.

There were five other Falun Dafa practitioners in Jinan City, Shandong Province who died after giving up cultivation practice under pressure after the persecution began. Yu Dejing (gender unknown), about 56 years old, died in 2002. Mr. Liu Ziquan, about 82 years old, died in 2003. Mr. Kan Fusheng, 56, died in 2002. Mr. Guo Weire, in his 70s, died in 2004. Sun (gender unknown), 68, died in 1999.
