By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) A few days ago, one of my co-workers started talking to me about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and related issues. I was surprised and delighted to find that her attitude had changed dramatically. She told me that someone had called her home and that the person on the phone had a very pleasant voice, like a radio announcer. The person talked about the Nine Commentaries and related information. Her family enjoyed listening to the caller very much. Her husband's attitude, in particular, changed significantly after that phone call. He used to avoid talking about sensitive topics, but now, he initiates conversations on those topics and talks to his family and friends about the information in that phone call.

I truly feel happy for them, but at the same time, I realize that today's Chinese people are absolutely numbed by the Communist Party culture. They see the Communist Party's arrogance and cruelty, but at the same time, they deeply fear the Communist Party's tyranny. Under the control of the Party culture, people's thinking is strongly suppressed and they are afraid to talk about the Party. It is degenerate to the point that people are afraid to acknowledge that they understand the difference between right and wrong. Instead, they instinctively agree with the Party for their own self-protection. Anything outside of the Party culture is labeled "Anti-communist," "Anti-Chinese," and "Traitorous." Clarifying the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong to people who have been poisoned by the Party culture is truly challenging. It requires us to use our hearts in everything we do, while at the same time using rationality, wisdom, and compassion.

The above-mentioned couple are very close friends of mine. I had clarified the truth to them on more than one occasion. I know that, in their hearts, they know that I am a good person and they also believe the facts that I told them, but they think that, "An arm cannot wrestle a leg" [referring to the difference in strength between and arm and a leg]. So under the harsh environment of the persecution of Falun Gong, they rarely contacted me because they were afraid of being associated with me. Of course, there were things I needed to improve in my cultivation as well.

This time, when their long-imprisoned minds heard another voice, the shell of isolation created by the Party culture was suddenly broken open and their true selves awakened. Of course, clarifying the truth cannot be restrained to only one certain method, especially for practitioners in China. Please don't disregard safety when you clarify the truth. During this special historic period, let's fully make use of our wisdom and the abilities given to us from the Fa to clarify the truth to those people whose minds have been poisoned by the Party culture.
