Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Xu Baowen was arrested in Panjin City. He is currently being held at the Tieling Prison Hospital; the doctor told his family he is in critical condition. On March 21, his family went to the prison and asked for him.

Ms. Gao Rongrong is currently being held at the Zhangshi Brainwashing Center.

Practitioners Zhang Lirong and Dong Jingzhe are being held in solitary confinement in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp where they are being tortured and brainwashed.

On March 17, Ma Yuping, Sun Shiyou, and Liu Qingming were transferred from the Zhangshi Brainwashing Center to a new Center in Shenxin to receive "education of the mind." Their families are charged a food fee whenever they visit.

Practitioner Ms. Hu Huiqiu, in her 40s, lives in Changchun City. Around March 10, the police, who waited outside a car factory, arrested her. She is currently being held at the Shuangyang Detention Center, also called the No. 3 Detention Center in Changchun City. She has been on a hunger strike since her arrest and, due to the torture, is in critical condition. The detention center authorities have notified her family.

On the evening of March 14, practitioner Ms. Wang Dunhua, in her 50s, from Zhaogezhuang Village, Liuting Town, Chengyang District, Qingdao City was arrested for distributing truth clarification materials. The police also ransacked her home.

At around 6:00 a.m. on March 16, the police also arrested practitioner Mr. Ji Shangyong, around 58 years of age, and his wife. They arrested practitioner Ms. Liu Di in Nanqu, the Licang District, and ransacked her home. On March 17, they transferred Mr. Ji Shangyong's wife and Ms. Liu Di to the Dashan Detention Center in Qingdao City. Ms. Liu was not accepted because of her poor health; she is now serving her detention under house arrest.

On February 14 and February 15, 2005, the police tailed practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhongli from Zoucheng City, Shandong Province when he distributed truth clarification materials. Officers from the Xuzhou Police Department ransacked his home and later arrested him. Mr. Zhang went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. Eight days later he was sent to a hospital. He escaped from the hospital with the power of his righteous thoughts and is staying away from home to avoid recapture.

Mr. Zhang was illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor in October 2000. He was held at the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp where he succumbed to the torture and brainwashing and renounced Falun Dafa. After he was released in early 2002, Teacher prompted him, and fellow practitioners helped him. He returned to Dafa practice around October 2003. He has since actively participated in validating Dafa and offering people salvation.

On March 19, practitioner Ms. Yue Huaifang was arrested when distributing truth clarification flyers in the Baodi District, Tianjin . She is currently being held at the Baodi District Detention Center.

Practitioner Mr. Ran Zailin, a former employee of the Sanxiang Coach Corporation Ltd. in Hunan Province lived in the Sanxiang District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. He was recently arrested for the second time when distributing Falun Dafa truth clarification materials.

The police arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Peng from Changchun City around March 7. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Half a month ago, the Changchun police secretly arrested practitioner Ms. Hu Huiqiu. She is currently being held at the No. 3 Detention Center in Changchun City. She went a hunger strike at the detention center and is on the brink of death. As a form of torture, the perpetrators at the detention center hammered steel needles under Ms. Hu's fingernails.

On the afternoon of March 15, 2005, practitioners Mr. Chen Guangjun and his wife Ms. Yan Guangbi were arrested. More than ten uniformed police offices and plainclothes policemen participated in the arrest. They were on their way to visit their parents in Gailanxi. Their current whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Maoming City, Guangzhou City] Practitioners Ms. Lin Yanmei and Ms. Yang Zhifang Sent to the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp

On January 30, 2005, practitioners Ms. Lin Yanmei and Ms. Yang Zhifang in Maoming City, Guangdong Province were arrested and sent directly to the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp, in violation of the Chinese constitution. Ms. Lin was sentenced to three years of forced labor and Ms. Yang was sentenced to one year of forced labor.

11. [Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Jiang Has Been on a Hunger Strike for Seven Days to Protest Illegal Arrest

A week ago, personnel from the Aihui District Police Precinct arrested practitioner Jiang because Jiang was reported when he/she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. As of March 21, Jiang had been on a hunger strike for seven days.

Practitioner Mr. Shi Yongshun, in his 50s, from Anshan City, Liaoning Province, is an engineer. He started to practice Falun Gong in 1996. On September 26, 2004, he went out to clarify the truth. No one has seen him since then and his whereabouts are unknown.

At about 4:00 p.m. on March 15, 2005, the police arrested practitioner Ms. Li Lianjie from her booth in a market. The police also ransacked her home.

In February 2005, the police arrested practitioners Ms. Liu Jianhua and Ms. Cao Weijun. Both are in their 40s, and are from the Nan Coal Mine in Xilinhaote City, Inner Mongolia AR. The police arrested them because the practitioners distributed Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. Later, the police ransacked more than 20 practitioners' houses.

On around March 13, 2005, personnel from the Shiliting Town Police Precinct in Shahe City arrested two practitioners from Wanggang Village and ransacked their homes.

On February 23, 2005, Ms. Fengzhen and another female practitioner from Shahe Town were arrested.

At 10:00 a.m. on March 18, several officers from the Yongji County Police Department broke into Mr. Yang Chunman's home without any reason and took him away. At 2:00 p.m. they ransacked Mr. Yang's home. Mr. Yang is being held at the Yongji County Detention Center in Jilin Province.

Practitioners Cai Junping, Ms. Liang Biyan and Liang Shenping from Nanning City, Guangxi AR were sentenced to three years in prison (Liang Biyan was allowed to temporarily serve her term under house arrest due to her extremely poor health after a hunger strike). When the Chengbei District Court in Nanning City unlawfully tried the case in early January 2005, the judge did not declare the sentence because of a successful defense presented by the practitioners' lawyer. Afterwards personnel from the court threatened the lawyer with consequences for being disloyal to the Communist Party. In late March they secretly sentenced all three practitioners to three years in prison.

On March 8, 2005, Ms. Yu Suhua from Ciqikou Town, Shapingba District, Chongqing was arrested at her home; her whereabouts are currently unknown.

Practitioner Ms. Hu Xiaozhen is from the Dongxihu District in Wuhan City. She went to Sichuan Province for temporary work on around March 10, 2005. Police in the province arrested her when she clarified the truth about Falun Gong. The police are going to send her back to the Dongxihu District. Her family members went to the province to pick her up on March 18.

Practitioner Mr. He Qiang, a teacher of the Tianyang County Nationalities Middle School in the Guangxi AR, was sentenced to two years in prison and his home was ransacked.

Practitioner Ms. Gao Guiqin, in her 60s, from Beijing's Chaoyang District was arrested for distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials in the Chaoyang District during the period of the SARS epidemic in 2003. Afterwards, she was sentenced to two years of forced labor. After a few months of inhuman torture, her physical condition deteriorated to the point that she was on the verge of death. The authorities allowed her to be bailed out for medical treatment. Currently she is in danger of losing her life.

At around 12:00 p.m. on March 9, 2005, personnel from the Beilin District Police Precinct suddenly went to practitioner Ms. Zhang Jie's home for an illegal search. At the time Ms. Wang Jiali from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Ms. Sun Dejun from Beiguan and Ms. Zhang Jie were there. The practitioners at first didn't open the door but policemen broke in and forcibly took them away.

During the 2001 New Year, Ms. Zhang was sentenced to two years of forced labor for appealing in Beijing for the right to practice Falun Gong. A month after being released she was arrested and sent to a forced brainwashing center. In October 2003 she was arrested again and taken to a forced brainwashing center where she was tortured for over half a year.

In 2000, practitioner Ms. Wang Jiali was held in a detention center for several months for appealing in Beijing. In 2003 she was arrested and put into a forced brainwashing center. She has often been harassed.

Practitioner Ms. Sun Dejun lived in exile for nearly two years. Ms. Sun had appealed in Beijing and wanted to avoid arrest. Nevertheless, the police arrested when they found her at Ms. Zhang Jie's home and put her in a detention center for several months. Afterwards she was incarcerated in a forced brainwashing center so they could torture her.

In the middle of February 2005, Ms. Huo Junmei from Shijiazhuang City went back to Quzhou County in Hebei Province, her hometown, to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. Personnel from the county police department arrested her and put her into detention. All attempts by her family to visit her have been denied.

On March 17, 2005, practitioner Ms. Jia Yuxia from Heituozi Tun in Zuoke Village, Jubaoshan Town, Changling County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province was arrested. On March 21, Ms. Fan Honglian from Liujiadian Tun in Shaolihu Village was arrested.

On February 21, 2005, police from the Qingyuan City "610 Office" arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Qiumei at her home. At present her whereabouts are unknown.

On the morning of March 13, 2005, personnel from the Huangkeng Police Precinct in Qingxin County, Qingyuan City arrested practitioner Ms. Huang Jinrong when she clarified the truth about Falun Gong to local people in a vegetable market. She is currently being held at the county's Zhoutian Detention Center.

On November 19, 2004, three personnel from the Qinglong Police Station, the Chenghua Police Department broke into Ms. Mao Suhua's home in the Shahexinju Residential Area and took her to the police station. When interrogating Ms. Mao, they told her that she had to write a Guarantee Statement. If she refused, they would not release her, but would instead send her to a forced labor camp. Because of such coercion, one of Ms. Mao's family members wrote the "Guarantee Statement" for her, after which Mr. Mao was released.

They confiscated his telephone, his son's cell phone and some Dafa books. They took Mr. Zhao and his wife, Ms. Lin Xiuzhi, to the police department. Currently, Mr. Zhao Baosheng's whereabouts are unknown.

In the fall of 2004, policemen Guo Wanru, Li Youxue and others from the Security Team of the Wolong District Police Precinct arrested practitioner Mr. Fan Jinping from Nanyang City and put him into a forced brainwashing center in the Nanyang Political & Legal Cadres School in order to persecute him. Later they transferred Mr. Fan to the Shangzhuang Detention Center. The Wolong District Procurator's Office approved of Mr. Fan's arrest.

We have heard that on March 9, 2005, two Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested in Zhongguancun. Shortly afterwards, the Zhongguancun Police Station personnel ransacked Mr. Shen Shengying's home in the south residential area. They confiscated some Dafa books and a computer and printer. They arrested Mr. Shen and then released him the next day because of his poor health.

Mr. Shen is a retired professor from Beijing University. Personnel from the Haidian District National Security Team have been monitoring him for a long term. Police also constantly harass Mr. Shen and his family.

On March 15, 2005, Wang Feng from Zhenping County's "610 Office" collaborated with some policemen from the Political & Security Team in Chengguan Town. They broke into practitioner Dr. Wang's home, ransacked the place and confiscated some of his belongings. They even put Dr. Wang in the County Detention Center. To date they have not released him.

Practitioner Ms. Huo Ruizhi, over 50 years old, from the Er'qi District was arrested while clarifying the facts about Dafa to people and distributing truth-clarifying materials in the street. She was tortured so severely at the Er'qi District Detention Center that she became disabled. She was sent to an orthopedic hospital but was later sent back home; she was unable to take care of herself. In spite of her disability, she is still under surveillance around the clock.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Yanling and Wan Zhong are still being held at the newly built Zhengzhou City Detention Center. Ms. Wang Yanling is still on a hunger strike.

After 9:00 a.m. on March 10, 2005, personnel from Xianning City "610 Office," the City Police Department, the City National Security Team and from the Yihaoqiao Police Station collaborated with personnel from the Security Section in Xianning City People's Central Hospital. They arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Xia, a nurse from the hospital's Contagious Diseases Section. They even ransacked her home, confiscated a computer, two printers and lots of truth-clarifying materials.

At present, Wang Xia is being held at the City Detention Center for torture. Her teenage son is left at home without care.
