Taiwan: "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance" Painting Exhibition Held at National Central University (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) National Central University was second among colleges and universities to sponsor the "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance Painting Exhibition." The exhibition has been coordinated by Falun Gong Clubs at each college or university, and a total of 16 colleges and universities will host the exhibition during this semester. More will host it next semester.

The lady in charge of the exhibition venue enjoyed the exhibition very much. She viewed the paintings in the morning and came back to see them again at noon. She said she felt the environment there was very peaceful. The exhibition was run by the student Falun Gong Club, and some faculty and staff practitioners also came to see the paintings. The lady managing the venue asked, "Do you practice Falun Gong?" The faculty said, "Yes. A faculty Falun Gong Club has been established. You are welcome to join us." The lady was interested and asked about the practice time.

Some students said that they knew the facts about Falun Gong, but still felt shocked upon viewing the paintings, especially those depicting practitioners being tortured. Many said that the paintings were realistic and detailed. There was one interesting incident during setting up the exhibition. A student opened a package of the paintings and saw water on one of them. He attempted to wipe away the water but found that a woman in the painting was shedding tears. Another student asked, "Are these photographs?" We said they were paintings. He was surprised at how realistic they looked.

When we told viewers that the paintings described real stories and the persecution is still going on, many were shocked. After viewing the paintings, many picked up Falun Gong introductory materials. It was graduate school entrance exam time in the university. As practitioners distributed flyers on campus, some parents accompanying students for the exam said after accepting the flyers, "I'll go to view it right away." Many of them came to view the paintings and take informational materials. Some wrote on the feedback notebook, "Falun Dafa is great".

The exhibition's next venue will be Political University, where more people will have the opportunity to view the paintings.
