Central Daily (Taiwan): Chinese Communist Regime's Latest Assault on Falun Gong Catches the Attention of International Human Rights Organization
(Clearwisdom.net) In advance of the 6th anniversary of the Chinese
Communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong, the regime has initiated another
round of large-scale arrests in the most extensive assault on Falun Gong since
July 20, 1999. Amnesty International in London expressed its concern about the
continuous persecution. Central Daily reported on April 24 that the Chinese Communist regime
labeled Falun Gong as a "counterrevolutionary political organization"
just before the 6th anniversary of the peaceful appeal on April 25,
1999 in Beijing. The report also disclosed that Amnesty International in London expressed its
concern over the persecution of Falun Gong, especially the regime's arresting of
a Falun Gong practitioner in Beijing recently. The report stated that Amnesty International was very concerned about the
arrest, interrogation and abuse of Falun Gong practitioners.
