By a Falun Dafa practitioner from Mainland China

(Clearwisdom.net) Truth clarification should be synonymous with one's daily life. Whenever I go out, I never go without truth-clarification materials and VCDs. I have been doing this for the last five years. Sometimes, when I come across a red traffic light at the intersection, on my motorbike, (the red light normally lasts one minute), I get off the bike and give the nearby pedestrians truth-clarification materials and ask them to remember, "Falun Dafa is good."

Over the past several years, I have repeatedly clarified the truth to many people. After a reasonable space of time has elapsed, I often give them new materials and pass along the materials already read to those who have not read them yet. Sometimes, a Falun Dafa book is passed around among a dozen people and read in turn. This way, every copy of Dafa materials and VCDs plays its role fully, as every bit of truth-clarification materials is printed from the savings of the Falun Dafa practitioners, and often at great risk to their lives. After giving people the materials, I ask them to share these materials with their friends and relatives, as these materials can save lives. Through this way of spreading the truth-clarification materials, the result of my person-to-person truth clarification is very sound. For example, handing out truth-clarification calendar cards during the Chinese New Year period has proven to be a great idea, as the relatives all go back home for their family reunions, and they all are able to get and share the materials.

Through persistent and consistent truth clarification over the years, a lot of changes have occurred in those people who initially opposed and misunderstood Dafa, and now, after being skeptical, they have started pondering and understanding Falun Dafa. Some of them have even been actively asking for materials, and in the end have obtained the Fa and are studying Falun Dafa. Over the past several years, more than a hundred people have obtained Dafa through my assistance. Some of them are walking the cultivation path very diligently. I have bought several dozen copies of Zhuan Falun and a few of Master Li's Nine-Lecture VCDs for those who wanted to learn. I would visit them once every two weeks and if they had finished the book or video and wanted to continue with them, I would then give them a copy of Zhuan Falun, and if they didn't want to continue when only half finished, I would take the book or VCD back and give them to the next person with a predestined relationship. I pay special attention to discover those who have a predestined relationship and give them a copy of the exercise instruction VCD.

Face-to-face truth clarification enables me to find out about people's personalities and what they are thinking about, and then I strive to awaken them to the truth. It also helps me to know which materials require improvement, which are effective and which materials are suitable for certain people. I normally read all the new materials at least two times. I also choose different VCDs for different people and treat people who have a different background and different knowledge base differently.

I have collected about 60 copies of truth-clarification VCDs since 2001 and labeled them clearly. I have helped eight Falun Dafa disciples who had fallen behind since July 20, 1999 to return to Dafa. I have also gotten in touch with Falun Dafa disciples outside our area who were not in contact with us, and I now send them Dafa books and materials so that they can also catch up and be in the present current of Master's Fa-rectification. Sometimes, I randomly go to far-away places and distribute several hundred copies of truth-clarification materials, but the effect is, however, not as good as face-to-face truth clarification. I feel that both ways have good points. I think that as long as we Falun Dafa disciples do what we are supposed to do with our hearts, we will surely be able to save more sentient beings.

Master has told us in his article "Rationality":

"Validate the Fa with rationality, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and save people with mercy.

Saving people is like rescuing someone from a fire, but there are no short cuts as practitioners. We must study the "Fa" well, especially Master's Fa taught after 1999. Only when there is an elevation in the understanding of Master's Fa can one truly let go of fear, let go of life and death, and can one really step forward from humanness.
