By a practitioner in Missouri
(Clearwisdom.net May 14, 2005) On May 12, 2005, practitioners held the "Truthfulness, Compassion,
Forbearance" Art Exhibition on the first floor of the State Capitol of
Missouri, to celebrate the sixth World Falun Dafa Day. The Governor of the State
of Missouri issued a proclamation. The "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" Art
exhibition in the Missouri State Capitol On that day, many people came to view the paintings, including state
government officials, staff members, students and teachers visiting the Capitol,
and many tourists. The beautiful paintings demonstrate the grace of Falun Dafa,
the uncompromising courage of Dafa practitioners and the cruel persecution by
the Chinese Communist Party. These paintings moved the hearts of the viewers and
many visitors stood in front of one or another painting for quite a while. Many
talked to the practitioners, requested truth-clarification
materials, expressed their support to the Falun Gong practitioners and condemned
the atrocities of the Chinese Communist regime. After learning the facts, people
signed the appeal calling for an end to the persecution in China. At noon, practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises,
performed traditional dances and sang songs. We also visited representatives'
offices and delivered paper lotus flowers to thank them for their support and to
explain the facts further. This was the third time that practitioners in Missouri celebrated World Falun
Dafa Day. At the end of the event, many staff members working the building
expressed their appreciation to the practitioners and hoped that we would come
again next year.
