Singapore: Falun Dafa Practitioners Celebrate "World Falun Dafa Day" (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) In the boundless cosmos and immense galaxies, the countless days pass by quietly, but there is one day which emits splendid light and brings new life to sentient beings.

On May 13, 13 years ago, the founder of Falun Gong, Master Li Hongzhi, began introducing Falun Dafa to the public and brought Falun Dafa to the world's people. Today, all over the world, Falun Dafa practitioners, their family members and numerous supporters are using different ways to celebrate this sacred day so as to express their love for Falun Dafa and incomparable gratitude toward Master Li.

On the evening of May 13, Falun Gong practitioners in Singapore conducted a celebration in the form of an evening party. They spent a wonderful evening with their family members, displayed the beauty of Falun Dafa and clarified the truth about Falun Dafa.

Twelve practitioners dressed in golden exercise uniforms recited together one of Master Li's poems from Hong Yin II. Then they stepped onto the stage while performing the waist drums. The practitioners smiled while striking their drums to the music, "Falun Dafa is Good." The audience watched with great enthusiasm and took pictures and videotaped the performance. People warmly applauded.

Many other performances were also presented over the course of the evening, showcasing different talents and styles. The music played on the Zheng (an ancient Chinese musical instrument) was very moving and touched people's hearts. Beautiful ladies gracefully danced and introduced the "memory of the great Tang Dynasty." Young practitioners from Minghui School used their innocent voices to present a song, "Planting Lotus Flowers." The young practitioners' group performed "A Song of Oddities" in the form of singing, talking and dancing. The song was composed to expose the truth about the staged Tiananmen Square Self-immolation. The presentation was fresh and humorous. All the young practitioners performed very attentively and won cheers and applause from the spectators. Then they also performed from the opera, "Mother's Hardship," which told the touching story of practitioners who risk their lives to clarify the truth to the public. The practitioners' earnest involvement and presentation allowed the audience to think about the brutal persecution in China. All the people present were deeply moved.

The party concluded with the chorus, "Heaven and Earth Celebrate Together" and "Falun Dafa is Good." Falun Dafa has brought people new hope, and people's kind nature is awakening. Practitioners from Singapore respectfully sent birthday greetings to Master and celebrated "World Falun Dafa Day." Practitioners also hope that more people will experience the beauty of Falun Dafa.
