(Clearwisdom.net) On May 14, 2005, downtown Las Vegas, Nevada was extremely celebratory and jubilant. A large-scale Las Vegas' 100th Anniversary parade sponsored by the city government would be held there. The sunshine was brilliant, and people enjoyed such a grand occasion of a one hundred year anniversary in a relaxing and harmonious mood. Jubilant and peaceful procession is well received

There were 214 entries participating in the parade, and among them, 107 included floats. The organizers of the parade called on participants to follow the theme of "Traditional," "Looking back on those years," and "Looking back in history." When the Falun Dafa contingent, which was full of traditional oriental characteristics, presented itself, the audience gave a round of cheers and acclamations. Practitioners walking at the front of the contingent held a huge purple velvet banner reading "Falun Dafa."

Dressed in bright yellow exercise suits, Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises. With their gentle and elegant movements, they displayed the Falun Gong exercises' unique charm to the audience. People shouted from the crowds, "Falun Dafa!" "Falun Dafa!" Two reporters from TV stations even jumped onto the float and videotaped practitioners.
A local English newspaper once reprinted a report that was actually a lie stated by a "survivor" of the self-immolation incident on Tiananmen staged by the Chinese Communist regime. Many people were misled by the report. Through practitioners' continuous sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the facts, local residents have gradually seen clearly who is right and who is wrong, understood the beauty of Falun Dafa, and seen clearly the CCP's evil nature. When people saw the practitioners' peaceful and rational contingent in the parade, it further clarified their understanding.
