People's Kindness is Awakening, The Buddha Law is Boundless

(Clearwisdom.net) As of May 13, 2005, Falun Gong has been publicly taught for 13 years, and its practitioners have suffered nearly six years of brutal persecution and tribulations. Jiang Zemin once boasted, "I refuse to believe that the CCP cannot defeat Falun Gong." By now, this assertion has been proven to be folly. In spite of the massive persecution, Falun Gong has spread throughout the world. The mighty virtue of the compassionate Buddha Law and the awakening of kindness in people's hearts are being revealed to an ever greater extent in the human world.

In 1999, when Jiang's regime began to utilize the entire nation's resources to vilify and persecute Falun Gong, many people were worried about Falun Gong's ability to survive the onslaught. Today, after six years of persecution, it has become ever more evident that the fortunes of the CCP have turned and it is sliding towards its doom. Falun Gong has been spread even more widely across the world, from 30 countries at the beginning of the persecution to more than 70 countries today.

As early as 1996, the founder of Falun Gong said, "Such a great law is passed to human beings, not to exist just for three or five years. I know that more and more people will come to learn the Fa in the future. There will be quite a large number of people, an unprecedented number of people [that will practice Falun Gong]. Furthermore, this Fa does not only belong to the human world or China. The entire world and more sentient beings are hearing the Fa." (Draft translation "Teaching the Fa at Beijing International Experience Sharing Conference" November 2, 1996) What Master Li said in this speech nine years ago is becoming reality. Human beings are witnessing the spread of Falun Gong all over the world.

Falun Gong has spread to 78 regions

At the beginning of the persecution, Falun Gong had been spread to more than 30 countries worldwide. Besides China, Falun Gong had been disseminated to Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and countries in North America, Europe and Australia . In spite of the six-year long persecution, Falun Gong has reached locations in the Asian Pacific area, North America, South America, much of Europe, and some African countries.

According to incomplete statistics, Falun Dafa has been spread to at least to 78 countries and areas: China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao, Papua New Guinea, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, Nepal, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, Sri Lanka, Australia, Indonesia, India, Belarus, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Cyprus, Russia, Iran, Israel, Ukraine, Poland, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Belgium, Iceland, Portugal, Macedonia, Mar he, France, Finland, England, Germany, Denmark, Yugoslavia, Norway, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Luxembourg, Croatia, Holland, Czechoslovakia, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Ireland, Austria, Italy, the United States, Canada, Panama, Brazil, Bolivia, Belize, Mexico, Peru, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Tanzania, Tunisia, and South Africa.

As Falun Dafa practitioners clarify the truth throughout the world, people are becoming aware of the evil nature of the persecution, as well as the beauty of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." Wherever Falun Dafa has appeared, more and more people have begun to learn and practice it. Although the overall number of Falun Gong practitioners is not readily available, as there is no organizational structure, one can tell that the number of practitioners has increased by attendance at experience sharing conferences.

For example, the first Falun Dafa experience sharing conference in Canada in 1998 was held in an auditorium that held only 400 people. Since 2002, more than 1,500 people have attended the conferences annually. Each year close to July 20^th, an experience sharing conference is held in Washington D.C. In 1999, about 800 people attended this conference. In 2000, there were more than 1,000 people, and in 2003, attendance was more than 5,000 people. On July 22, 2004, 350 young practitioners and their parents attended the "Overseas Falun Dafa young practitioners experience sharing conference" in Washington D.C. In Taiwan, the number of practitioners increased from several thousand at the beginning of the persecution to around 300,000 today.

"World Falun Dafa Day" has become an international festival

Since the first World Falun Dafa Day on May 13, 2000, practitioners worldwide have celebrated this significant event every year. Falun Dafa Day is now celebrated throughout the world. In 2000, forty-seven such celebrations outside of China were reported on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website. In 2001, the number increased to 80 such events. In 2003, it increased to 89 and in 2004 it increased to 92.

Righteous faith will ultimately overcome the evil

We have not forgotten Jiang Zemin's public boast, "Falun Gong will be eliminated within three months," and soon afterwards he declared victory in "the battle against Falun Gong." However, as of April of this year, the CCP is still trying to sustain the persecution and "defeat" Falun Gong. It is clear that the CCP will not change its evil nature and has continued to use the most brutal and inhumane methods to persecute Falun Gong. During the persecution of Falun Gong, people in China and worldwide have recognized the evil nature of the CCP through seeing its abhorrent behavior. Recently, the "Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party" gave the world an unprecedented perspective on the CCP's evil nature. After reading these commentaries, hundreds of thousands of Party and Youth League members have publicly withdrawn from the CCP, and the numbers are increasing daily.

The CCP and Jiang Zemin, who embrace lies and violence as ways to maintain their power, may never believe in the power of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance." Meanwhile, the mighty power displayed by Falun Dafa, based on the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance," have captured people's hearts. There are people who probably are unable to understand how Falun Gong practitioners could withstand the evil persecution by the CCP, but when they see Falun Gong's peaceful journey, practitioners continuously clarifying the truth and resisting the persecution, they begin to understand the power of righteous faith in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." Some people can see clearly the relationship between the CCP persecuting Falun Gong and its ultimate demise. They see clearly the methods it uses and its propaganda in a desperate attempt to ward off the end. It's obvious, though, that the CCP's fate is sealed.

Many people may still remember that since the beginning of the persecution in 1999, kindhearted Falun Gong practitioners have never acknowledged the evil persecution. They utilized various methods to clarify the truth and expose the evil. They were initially viewed as "futilely going against the tide," but nearly six years later, it has become evident that no matter how rampantly the evil acts, it is unable to stop the spread of the universal principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." It is true that those who continue to persecute Falun Gong and refuse to repent will eventually be destroyed. In the end, good will prevail over evil..
