Toronto: Children Improve and Advance Together at the 2005 Canada Young Dafa Practitioners' Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of May 21, 2005, the Canada Falun Dafa Young Practitioners' Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was held in the auditorium of the Center for Global Physics at the University of Toronto. Attendees included several dozen young practitioners from around the world, their parents, and practitioners from Toronto and other places. More than 20 young practitioners made speeches at the conference. The youngest practitioner was only six-years-old and the oldest was a student who is going to graduate from high school.

During the more than three-hour conference, young practitioners talked about how they require themselves to follow the standard of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" and constantly make improvement at school and in their homes. They also talked about how they introduced Falun Dafa and clarified the truth to people they encountered by a variety of means, such as distributing newspapers, dancing, bicycle trips and so on.

Kelly, an eleventh grader, shared how she introduced Falun Dafa at her school so that more people could learn about the persecution of children in China. She also guided students of her school to join the effort of rescuing the orphans who are suffering due to the Chinese Communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong in China. Eleven-year-old Anny shared her experience of taking part in making the movie entitled "Sandstorm" to expose the persecution. While acting as the young girl in the movie, she not only had to recite lines, but also do her homework. She had little time to sleep and also met with many other forms of interference and tests. Though it was difficult, she still persisted.

Seven-year-old Kevin told everyone his story of studying the Fa and clarifying the truth. Kevin was born in the US, and has never learned Chinese. But since he was three years old, he began reciting Hong Yin and reading Zhuan Falun. He often helps his mother clarify the truth through making phone calls.

Seventeen-year-old Jennifer shared with everyone how she miraculously recovered from a car accident within a week with Master's strengthening and help, and how she could continue with her dancing practice for the Chinese New Year Gala and participate in activities introducing Falun Dafa.

Several young practitioners from Toronto shared their experiences and feelings in participating in a "bicycle trip" for rescuing orphans last year.

After the Fa conference, young practitioners also gave an artistic performance. Victoria from Toronto played touching Guzheng music. Cindy sang a song entitled "Please Sit by My Side." Young practitioners from the Children's Class at Minghui School recited three poems from Hong Yin. Several young dancers from the Toronto Lotus Art Troupe performed a beautiful Fan Dance. In the end, all young practitioners sang together, "Falun Dafa is Great."
