The circumstances regarding Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Zilin

On February 3, 2005, Clearwisdom.net reported the news about Mr. Wang Zilin of Jilin Province. Mr. Wang is a 39-year-old man who lived on Shanqian Street in Longtan District, Jilin City, Jilin province, and worked at the Jiangbei Tree Farm. He went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa on November 19, 2000, but was illegally arrested by the Beijing Police and sent to the Xuanwu District Detention Center. That night, two Falun Dafa practitioners were interrogated, and both were beaten to death that very night. When Mr. Wang's family went to Xuanwu's District Detention Center, the officials there said that they had never heard of Mr.Wang.

Five Falun Dafa practitioners who are missing

1. Mr. Xu Xiaoqiang, who was a fourth year law student in Guizhou Province, has been missing for more than a year. Before he went missing, police from Guiyang City illegally arrested him in March 2004.

2. Mr. Chen Zhanguo is a 1.8 meter (5'9") tall, 32-year-old man from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. After being persecuted by the evil, he was forced to lead a homeless existence in order to avoid arrest. In 2002 he went missing while clarifying the truth and traveling from Chengdu City, Sichuan Province to Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province. To this day his whereabouts are unknown.

3. Mr. Sun Yufeng is a 1.7 meter (5"6') tall, 32-year-old man from Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province. He was also forced into homelessness in order to avoid being illegally arrested, and he also went missing while he was clarifying the truth and going from Chengdu City, Sichuan Province to Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province. His current whereabouts are unknown.

4. Mr. Li Xiaobai is a 30-year-old engineer from Southern China. He was last known to be going to Jiuxianqiao in Beijing in May 2000, and he's been missing since then. His current whereabouts are unknown.

5. Ms. Li Yinge is a 40-year-old factory worker from Huangchuan County, Henan Province, and she started practicing Falun Dafa in February 1999. After July 20, 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa, and as a result she was illegally arrested. Her work unit had to pay 1000 yuan in extortion money in order to secure her release from prison. From 2000 to 2001, whenever there were so-called "sensitive days", the corrupt communist party subordinates would harass her and she was forced into homelessness in order to avoid further persecution in December 2001. In May 2002, she sent a letter home saying that she was in Beijing. In July of that year she sent another letter home, but there was no return address on the letter or the envelope. There has been no word from her since.

The three Falun Dafa practitioners who went missing

Mr. Chai Qiang is a 40-year-old Master degree graduate who was employed in the Astronautic Department of Lanzhou 510 Research Institute. In 1999, he was illegally detained for fifteen days for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. In 2000, he was sentenced to a year of forced labor for practicing Falun Gong exercises in the morning at the park, and detained at the Pingantai Forced Labor Camp in Honggu District, Lanzhou City. In 2001 his work unit tried to force him to write the so-called Guarantee Statement, stating that he would not practice Falun Dafa again. Since then he's been homeless to avoid persecution. On January 16, 2004, he went missing while he was traveling from Baiyin City, Gansu Province to Wangba. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Xi Lilin is a 60-year-old retiree. Before retiring, she was a school doctor at the Lanzhou Business and Economics Institute. From 1999 to 2001, she was illegally detained and persecuted at the Pingantai Forced Labor Camp. According to some sources, she was arrested again in Shanxi Province, but her current status and whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Li Donghua is a teacher at the Chengdu Technological University who started practicing Falun Dafa in 1994. After the persecution of Falun Dafa began on July 20, 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal. Consequently, she was fired and forced to lead a homeless life in order to avoid persecution. In October 2004 she went missing, and her current whereabouts are unknown.
