Validating the Fa during the Evil's Intense Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Around April of 2004, the evil conducted an intense persecution in many areas of the country. My region suffered serious damage during the persecution. A materials production site was destroyed and many Dafa practitioners were arrested. One practitioner was murdered and many others were sentenced to jail terms or forced labor. Thus, the Fa-rectification situation in my region suffered serious interference.

The national security team arrested me on April 22. The only thing on my mind at that time was how to validate the Fa and how to do well the three things Master has asked us to do.

Getting Out of Detention

On the night of my arrest, the police interrogated me. I reminded myself that we Dafa practitioners should save sentient beings wherever we go. As long as a person shows a slight sign of kindness, we should save him. I continued sending forth righteous thoughts. Suddenly, I saw my name appear on the computer screen on the desk in front of me. Under my name were a summary and a suggestion of criminal arrest. I immediately questioned the police, "What is going on? You did not ask me any questions, so how did you come to this conclusion? You are not following any legal procedure, and what you have done is against the law. I need to talk with your supervisor." Then I exposed their fabrication, deception and other illegal activities during the persecution. I also said, "When you do things like this, how are you going to face your children? Are you still able to teach your children to be honest?" The policemen were speechless. Some nodded their heads and some expressed that they had no choice. They got nothing from me, and they put me into a detention center without following any legal procedure.

While in the detention center, I began to look within for any omissions that gave the evil this opportunity. I found I still had relatively strong attachments of competition, showing off and doing things, and some sort of attachment to time inside my heart. Now I was clear that in order to validate the "Fa" in this kind of environment, I must study the Fa more often and be strict with myself. During the several subsequent interrogations, I mainly sent forth righteous thoughts. When they asked questions, I clarified the facts to them. The police wrote down selected contents according to their need and asked me to sign my name. Each time I refused to sign my name. I also wrote down something like, "This person has a history of fabricating my affidavit, and this time he did it again. I request an impartial investigation into his criminal conduct." I turned their record into trash. The police became discouraged. They gave me a blank sheet of paper, asking me to write down "Falun Dafa is good." I knew they wanted their superior to know it was my fault. I wrote down "Falun Dafa is good" twice, signed my name and handed the paper to them.

The police did not reach their goal after using all kinds of methods, so they no longer interrogated me anymore. I began clarifying the facts to the inmates in the cell. I frequently sent forth righteous thoughts and helped them to see how wonderful Dafa is with my righteous thoughts and righteous behavior. While in the detention center, I did not recite the "detention regulations" and refused to cover my head with my hands under any circumstances. I refused to lower my head when going out and coming in, refused to announce my name or bow, or allow them to take my photo, and I refused to give my fingerprints. I was not humble or hostile to the police. I just stayed righteous and firm, which quickly changed their views towards Falun Gong.

One month after I was arrested, a police officer announced, "... pack your stuff and go home." The cell was filled with cheers and the inmates smiled at me happily. I knew their hearts truly felt the wonder and greatness of Dafa. I also waved my hands to them in appreciation. They did not know that the reason I was happy was because they can be saved for having understood the truth.

Attended the Brainwashing Center Three Times

I walked out of the detention center with dignity. However, the evil beings did not want to give up and wanted me to attend a brainwashing center. I immediately said, "No." They asked my work unit leader for help. I quickly realized that I should go to the brainwashing center to validate the Fa, since I was confident that they would not be able to "transform" me. After I entered the brainwashing center, I stopped in the meeting room, raised my arms and shouted, "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is definitely good!" One person (a former practitioner who had gone astray) who was approaching me to try to transform me immediately ran away. None of the rest of the people in the brainwashing session dared to stop me. I felt my voice was shaking this evil place. A few hours after this, I saw that everyone in the brainwashing center looked dull and sluggish, and they hardly looked at or talked to each other. I once again felt the power of "the Fa can destroy all evil." A few days later, a recently transformed person said to me, "When we heard your shouting, people had tears in their eyes." I hoped they could wake up.

Three days later, I approached the supervisor of the brainwashing center and said, "Please let your director know that I want to talk with him." On the next day, the 610 Office head came to me. I said, "How I look at an issue is my business and it is protected by the constitution. Your forcing me to transform is illegal." He was speechless. Then I told him some facts about Dafa. He said, "I know you are trying to help me." I said, "I want to leave the brainwashing center to go home. If you do not let me out, I will shout 'Falun Dafa is good' every day, and I will have my fellow practitioners outside send forth righteous thoughts, put your name on the Internet and ask reporters to interview you, so you will become a famous international figure." He said, "How about two months?" "Two months? Half a month is too long for me," I replied. He asked, "How long can you stay?" "Three days," I said. "How about one week?" he asked. I said, "Ok, only one week." I knew that on surface he became weak, and in reality it was the evil that controlled him from another dimension that was largely eliminated. On the tenth day after I entered the brainwashing class, I was ready to leave. They requested that after a while I come back again for a couple of days. I accepted the request because I cared about my fellow practitioners who were still suffering in the brainwashing center.

After ten or more days, I went back to the brainwashing center. The head of the brainwashing center asked, "How long are you going to stay this time?" I said, "Two days." "Two days? Are you treating our place as a tourist site?" he asked. "Only two days," I replied. I first checked the results of my clarifying the truth from my last visit. I found that a female practitioner who was sent back from another area had strengthened her righteous thoughts. From the "transformation" room, I heard her voice and her arguing with those who tried to transform her. I sent forth righteous thoughts every day and I left the brainwashing center two days later.

In September, I read Master's article "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People." Master said,

"For this reason, all Dafa disciples, students both new and veteran, should get to work and begin comprehensively clarifying the truth. This is especially so for the Dafa disciples in Mainland China: each must come out and clarify the truth, bringing it to every field and valley, mountain and hill, not omitting a single area where there are people."

I thought that the brainwashing center was also a place to go and that I should go there one more time to clarify the facts. It was at the time when evil beings were assembling in Beijing. I also felt that the intensity of the evil was greater than before. I felt that this time of stepping forward might not be as easy as before, so I prepared my strategy. However, when I arrived at the brainwashing center, they told me, "We have an order from our superiors that you can leave whenever you want." This time, in addition to intensively sending forth righteous thoughts, I also aimed to clarify the facts to those who would most likely understand. For example, I talked with a lady, who had gone astray, for a whole evening. Her mind indeed became clearer. At the end, I said to her, "What I said is not important, you should find time to read Master's articles published after July 20; this is what is important." She expressed that she would follow my advice. I also clarified the facts to a supervisor of the brainwashing center. I talked about family matters and learned that his wife had diabetes. I said, "You can ask her to recite 'Falun Dafa is good and Zhen-Shan-Ren is good.'" He was a little surprised; however, he felt I was sincere, so he said, "Thanks. I took the book (Zhuan Falun) home to let her read it, but she did not believe what the book said." I said, "For some people who do not believe, you can ask them to talk with those who benefited from Dafa. Then they might be able to believe." I also told him to ask his wife to visit me after I got back and I could ask someone to take her to visit some people who had recovered from the same disease. Then she might change her mind. Three days later I left the brainwashing center.

Due to my limited cultivation level, I hope fellow practitioners can kindly point out anything improper.
