Eliminate the Persecution and Interference from the Evil Old Forces in Dafa Disciples' Marriages
By a Dafa practitioner from Mainland China
(Clearwisdom.net) The old evil forces can't properly understand the relationship between self cultivation and cultivation during the Fa-rectification
period. They set up all kinds of so-called tests for practitioners to pass. For example, practitioners have suffered illegal sentences in detention
centers and labor camps as well as forced attendance in brainwashing classes. Their homes have been ransacked, they have been fired from their jobs,
they have experienced illness-like symptoms, and so on. In this article, the focus is on the persecution of practitioners in their marriages. How has the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) evil spirit conducted this persecution? When a person doesn't give up his belief, his family members
(including parents, children and spouse) are encouraged to report him to the authorities. Sometimes, such acts lead to divorce. Many cultivators can't
tolerate their spouse's betrayal, and as a result they fall apart and collapse spiritually. In Mainland China, the divorce rate is quite high among illegally-detained Falun Gong practitioners. Many of these practitioners are elderly. For
example, an over-60-year-old practitioner, who had been married for 35 years and had a grandson in elementary school, was surprised one day during his
detainment, when his wife went to visit him and said, "Let's separate. I'm already living with another man." Younger practitioners who have
been detained have also experienced the same situation. There were some young practitioners who were about to marry before they were arrested. By the
time they were released, their loved ones had already married someone else. Even for those practitioners who are not arrested, many of their spouses
have had affairs, and the spouses intentionally let the practitioners know about the affairs. Because of the persecution, a lot of young practitioners
have lost their jobs, faced financial difficulties, and had to leave home to avoid arrest. Because of the lies and propaganda against Falun Gong, it
is very hard for them to reunite with their families. There are many more similar examples. As practitioners, how can we go against this persecution
and save human beings? Master has told us: "For those practitioners who practice cultivation among everyday people, our school of practice does not ask you to become a monk or nun.
Young practitioners should still have families." (Zhuan Falun) Marriage is a life situation that gods have assigned to human beings. The continuity of humanity requires family relationships, including husbands
and wives. Falun Dafa practitioners cultivate in ordinary society and not isolated in mountains or temples. Therefore, the principles of human society
must be maintained. The old evil forces are not allowed to interfere or destroy according to their whim. The old evil forces see practitioners' attachments to sentiment and use these attachments to persecute them. These old forces claim that you're not
letting go of human sentiment and all sorts of degenerated sentimental attachments. As long as practitioners behave properly, they can use their
strong righteous thoughts (without any omissions) to negate the evil's persecution. In the throes of a difficult situation, the more attachments one
has, the more excuses the evil forces can use to intensify the persecution. We have to set good examples to establish and maintain Dafa's honorable reputation in human society. The break-up of the family and divorce are not
part of the righteous Fa principles. Master does not approve of this kind of interference and persecution. None of the righteous gods in
the universe allow this. Dafa will create all the correct aspects of human society, those that are upright, happy, bright and pure. As Dafa disciples,
we set positive examples in each aspect of humanity, including family life and marriage. We should not give people the impression that practitioners
should be persecuted or that we have broken families and destroyed marriages, separating spouses and children. One of the ways to oppose the
persecution is to deny all the negative aspects forcefully imposed on practitioners by the corrupt and demonic evil forces. Practitioners are setting
examples, including those for marriage and family, for the future human society. May 14, 2005 |
