Teenage Girl Kept In Prison While her Father is Tortured to Death By Falun Dafa Practitioners from Heilongjiang Province, China
(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Zhang Tao is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. On May 13, 2002, he was detained at the Changlinzi Forced
Labor Camp. He was tortured to death on July 30, 2002. Zhang Tao's daughter, Zhang Jianhui, has been detained for three years. In Mid-April, 2002,
Zhang Jianhui, who was 19 years old at the time, was arrested amidst a large scale arrest of Falun Dafa practitioners and sentenced to ten years in
prison. She is still detained at the Heilongjiang Women's Prison in Harbin City today. We have heard that Ms. Zhang does not know that her father has been tortured to death, although people around her know. Seeing her pure face, her
fellow practitioners detained in the prison with her are very sad. Even the criminal detainees are fond of her. Zhang Guofu, the deputy head of Shuangcheng Police Department, was directly involved in the persecution of Zhang Tao's family. Zhang Guofu's father
and Zhang Tao's father are brothers. However, with the strong pursuit of person benefits and supported by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s twisted
reasoning, Zhang Guofu has arrested Zhang Tao's family members many times, and sent Zhang Tao and Zhang's wife to various forced labor camps. In Mid-April 2002, the Shuangcheng City CCP Secretary, Zhu Qingwen, and Zhang Guofu, ordered over 740 police officers to engage in a citywide
arrest of Falun Dafa practitioners. On April 19, Ms. Zhang Jianhui was arrested. Police officers interrogated her using tortures which left injuries
all over her face and body. Ms. Zhang was sentenced to 10 years in prison and sent to the Heilongjiang Women's Prison in Harbin City for long term
detention. On April 19, 2002, just 5 days after Zhang Tao was released from the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp, he was arrested, tied to a steel chair in the
Shuangcheng City Police Department for a whole night, and then sent to the 2nd Detention Center the following day. On May 13, 2002, Zhang Tao was
beaten, and then taken to the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp. Zhang Tao went on a hunger strike to protest, but he was confined to a small cell,
tortured and force-fed. On July 30, 2002, he died from the torture. Ms. Zhang Jianhui's mother, Yao Caiwei, was sentenced to a forced labor camp for three years, however, she did not meet the physical requirements
and was sent to the Wanjia Brainwashing Session in Harbin City (organized by Shuangcheng City Police). On December 3, 2002, Ms. Yao left the
brainwashing session and has been homeless ever since.
