A Helpful Web Master

I would like to share an experience that made me very happy today. I contacted the webmaster of a Chinese website for help on getting sponsorship for an art exhibition. I did not get any response from him for several days. Although I remembered about it several times, I almost forgot, because when I did remember it was never a good time to contact him. Later, I decided to give up, because my chances of getting help were very low, and I do not like to be rejected anyways.

Today, I received a phone call from the webmaster. He still had my telephone number from two years prior, when I had contacted him to place personal ads. At first I was very concerned. I was afraid he would ask me to take down my postings about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party published by the Epoch Times newsgroup as well as advertisements for concerts rescuing Falun Gong practitioners. I was afraid, and started to send forth righteous thoughts, but his words totally surprised me.

He said that he reads the Chinese language version of The Epoch Times web site every day, and that he often visits the NTDTV (New Tang Dynasty Television) website to watch its programs. Recently he had heard about the issue of Eutelsat, and he offered several suggestions to help us. He also made helpful suggestions about a few other things. The following are his suggestions:

1. He suggests that we should publish an appeal letter, with a sample letter to senators. He said many people want to send letters to their senators to help, but they are limited by their English skills, and they don't know how to write the letter. If we have a sample letter, they can just sign it and mail it out. This would provide an easy way for people to help.

2. Regarding the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, he said that he had watched NTDTV programs and felt that they were well done. He had also read the article itself, and suggested that we should make HTML compressed files with pictures to send to China. He is sending those to his friends now. It really touched me when a non- practitioner said this. I call him a non-practitioner here, because I cannot call him a normal person any more. Such people are above normal people, but they do not practice Falun Gong.

3. This web master said that our media is very good for the public and for spreading the voice of justice. He said this kind of media qualifies us to be a non-profit organization. Non-profit organization does not mean that you cannot get income from commercial ads and other sources. The profit would just be used for developing the media and for serving the public. All income goes back into the company. If we can get the status of "non-profit organization," any donations we receive would qualify for a tax credit.

4. He said he does not believe in Falun Gong, but he is not against it either. He said he knows many Chinese people are against Falun Gong because they have been heavily impacted by the Chinese government's propaganda. He suggests that we should think from their angle, and use words and expressions that can be understood by these people when we clarify the truth about Falun Gong. He is afraid that these people will stop listening once we talk about "faith," "God" and "Buddha." He said his parents have been persecuted by the CCP, and dislike the CCP, but they are very afraid when they hear anything about Falun Gong. Even though they are against the CCP, they are still affected by the CCP's propaganda, and they have prejudices against Falun Gong.

In the end, he mentioned the issue of sponsoring the art exhibition. He said that he would put my posting regarding this on the top of the web page, and add colors to it, so that everyone would be able to see it.

Our conversation made me very happy. I enlightened that it is the manifestation of the Fa rectification process in the human world. Even a non-practitioner is concerned about our issues, and is involved in spreading the truth of Falun Gong and the nine commentaries. I am sure there are many special people like him. Master said:

"The field that Dafa has established in this world occupies forty-five percent of what should be filled up in this dimension. If you look at the proportion, [you will see that] the factors left by the old forces in the surface dimension, the rotten demons, and the factors of the malevolent Party's evil specter altogether account for fifteen percent, while the field established by Dafa in this dimension occupies forty-five percent--and that doesn't even take into account the effect of Dafa disciples themselves." (Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference)

What Master said is the real manifestation of reality in the universe.

There have been different reactions from people including cursing when I post notes regarding Falun Gong. Sometimes I am affected by them and I do not feel well. I temporarily stop posting on BBS systems or after the posting I am afraid to take a look at the responses as I afraid of being hurt by them. With this mentality sometimes I think practitioners are weak and using a human mindset. Today's experience showed me that the truth is totally different from what I thought.

I just wanted to share my experience with every one.
