Mutual Respect Among Upright Religions

(Clearwisdom.net) In Falun Dafa books, it clearly states that the religions of Christianity, Catholicism, Judaism, Buddhism, and Taoism are upright religions. Jesus, Shakyamuni, Lao Zi and others who taught upright religions were righteous. Cultivators of Falun Dafa have always respected Christians, Buddhists, and other followers of upright religions. Though the teachings may vary, upright religions and spiritual practices should respect each other.

When Pope John Paul II met with a Falun Dafa practitioner, he offered his blessings to the practice (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2002/5/17/22168.html). Clearwisdom has had many articles in which Christians from various parts of the world have supported Falun Dafa, and prayed for an end to the persecution of Falun Dafa. There never was any contradiction between upright religions and Falun Dafa.

Recently on a CCP controlled website, there were so-called Christians attacking the practice of Falun Dafa. The focal point was the few stories of people who used to practice Falun Dafa and then gave up the practice. On other atheist and anti-Christian websites also controlled by the CCP, there have been similar articles about Christians who gave up Christianity. The logic behind these types of articles was similar to saying that since Judas betrayed Jesus, then Jesus was bad, and Judas was the victim.

These types of articles attempt to turn upright religions and spiritual practices against each other, using the tactic of divide and conquer to banish upright practices from the world, thereby allowing the Communist Party (an atheist regime) easier control of people's minds, with the end goal of the world's people worshipping the Communist Party. Actually, there is no contradiction between these upright practices, and there never was. True believers in upright spiritual practices and religions have mutual respect for one another.

In the books of Falun Dafa, Mr. Li Hongzhi uses terms similar to religions and science. By using these terms, the principles talked about in Falun Dafa can be explained clearly. Human's culture and language is being borrowed to explain the principles of the universe. Therefore there is no contradiction between these religions or with science, as the terms and language are being used to explain the principles of Falun Dafa. Those from other religions or scientists that try and negate the teachings of Falun Dafa cannot use the excuse that these terms are incorrectly used, as they are used in the way needed to explain the practice of Falun Dafa. Actually, it is pointless for upright religions and spiritual practices to argue amongst themselves, because they are all upright, it's just that they have different principles and teachings.
