Practitioner Ms. Chen Linyu Is Still Missing After Being Investigated by the National Security Brigade in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chan Linyu graduated in 2000. She started to work for the Changzheng-Xinkai Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, as a drug content analyst. She was placed under a secret investigation by the national police. No one knows what has become of her since 2003.

Ms. Chen Liyu, 26 years of age, was from Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. From 1996 to 2000, she studied at Nanjing City Chinese Medicine University, majoring in Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacology. In mid-1997, she started to practice Falun Gong. After graduation, she took a job at the Changzheng-Xinkai Pharmaceutical Company.

After October 1, 2003, Ms. Chen's mobile phone was suddenly disconnected. When her friend called her dormitory, her roommate said that Ms. Chen was not in. Her roommate did not want to talk further. When her friend then called Ms. Chen's office, her colleagues said that Ms. Chen had taken sick leave and gone back to her hometown. Her friend called again after some time had passed and was told that Ms. Chen had resigned and gone home. Her dormitory phone number was also disconnected.

One of her colleagues did reveal a little information. In 2003 Ms. Chen was secretly investigated by the National Security Brigade. In November of that year, she was isolated by the Suzhou Public Security Bureau for investigation. Company leaders ordered everyone who knew about her situation not to reveal any details to the outside. There is nothing known about her since then. The only certainty is that she is no longer working for the Changzheng-Xinkai Pharmaceutical Company. It is possible that she is under the secret persecution of the Suzhou National Security Brigade. Her whereabouts are still unknown.

We urgently call on people of conscience to help her and put an end to the persecution of kindhearted and innocent Falun Gong practitioners.
