New York Falun Gong Practitioners Continue Calling Upon Singapore Authorities to Not Associate with the Evil (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Upon hearing the news that the Singapore authorities forcibly imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners Ng Chye Huay and Cheng Lujin with groundless charges in order to please the CCP, Falun Gong practitioners in New York went to Singapore's Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York to appeal, asking the Singapore authorities to stop aiding the evil persecution of Falun Gong.

As the staff refused to meet us, practitioners sent a letter and related truth clarification materials to them last Friday. The appeal has also continued since last Friday (April 29, 2005), and did not stop Saturday even though it rained.

Calling upon Singapore authorities not to associate with the evil

The Singapore authorities are not respecting and protecting its people's right of freedom of belief and assembly, and have been willing to bow to the evil CCP's power, and since July 20, 1999, have created difficulties and restrictions for Falun Gong practitioners who believe in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Today, they are openly involved in the persecution of Falun Gong. These shameful deeds place Singapore in a disgraceful position in history and are a great disservice and crime against the people of Singapore.

While the CCP has persecuted Falun Gong for six years, Falun Gong practitioners have been disseminating the truth of Falun Gong to every corner of the world with their great compassion and forbearance. Most countries and people in the world have accepted and supported Falun Gong, and expressed their disdain at the CCP's suppression of freedom of belief. After the "Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party" were published at the end of last year, people all over the world have seen clearly the true nature of the evil CCP, and this has accelerated the process of the CCP's collapse. In Mainland China, 1.2 million people have withdrawn from the Communist Party and League organizations. Through their actions, the Singapore authorities are risking going down in history as the CCP's accomplice and sharing in its demise.

We hope that the Singapore authorities can see clearly the true nature of the evil CCP, and stop associating with the evil. We hope that they will listen to the voice of conscience and justice, ensure its own people's right of freedom of belief and assembly, and withdraw the incorrect verdict against the two Falun Gong practitioners.

The public expresses concerns and support

Singapore's Permanent Mission is located in Manhattan, and the practitioners quietly held banners, handed out flyers, practiced the exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts. Monday, some practitioners conducted a simple reenactment of torture methods used in China against practitioners. Residents passing by were happy to accept "Falun Gong Today" from practitioners, and some also stopped and talked with practitioners to find out what happened.

Two young Jewish men passed by and stopped upon seeing the reenactment of torture methods. One of them asked why and what he could do for us.

A journalist for Asia Info named Fricow passed by and immediately took photos of the practitioners' appeal, and told us, "I will help you." He told practitioners that he would post the photos he took and requested the practitioner to mail some detailed background information to him.
