Six Falun Dafa Practitioners Die as a Result of Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Sun Zhaoben was 70 years old and lived in Sunjialou Village, Wutai Town, Pingyi County, Shandong Province. After he started to practice Falun Dafa in 1994, all of his illnesses disappeared, and his white hair turned black. He maintained a high moral standard, and he was well thought of in his hometown. On March 27, 2003, he was arrested by a female police officer sent from the County 610 Office and Village Chairman Zhu Qinfu (male). He was detained for 21 days and had to pay two thousand yuan in extortion money for his release. He suffered numerous tortures during his detention, which caused him severe physical harm. He died on August 4, 2003.

Ms. Bian Xiaolian was a 75 year old Falun Dafa practitioner who lived in Gong'an County, Hubei Province. Her daughter also practices Falun Dafa. After July 20, 1999, Ms. Bian was arrested many times. She lived in a state of constant terror and suffered mental torture for years, and died in December 2002.

Mr. Zhou Xianqing was 83 years old and lived in Hubei Province. He attained the Fa in March 1999. He used to have coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, arthritis, and other ailments, which cost him more than two thousand yuan annually in medication costs. However, from March 1999 until July 2004, he didn't need to spend any money for medicine, and could help with many household chores. His daughter-in-law, who is also a Falun Dafa practitioner, was arrested and sent to brainwashing classes twice, locked in detention centers twice, and then sentenced to one year of forced labor. Their home was ransacked on two occasions and their phone line was tapped. Mr. Zhou lived in a state of terror, often shaking with fear. His study of the Fa and his ability to perform the exercises were severely disrupted. He died in July 2004. On the day he passed away, police called to threaten his daughter-in-law again, asking her to sign her name at the local police substation. She resolutely refused.

Ms. Kong Xianghua was a 48 year old Falun Dafa practitioner who lived in Longshan Village, Shizijie Town, Donggan City, Liaoning Province. She formerly had breast cancer but was cured after practicing Falun Dafa. She went to Dalian City in 1999 to appeal for the rights of Falun Dafa practitioners and to demand the release of fellow practitioners who had been arrested. She was detained by the police. Since that time, local police repeatedly harassed her, ransacked her home, and confiscated Master Li's photo. In July 2002, police stormed into her home, grabbed her finger by force, and took her fingerprint. As a result of constant threats and intimidation, her old sickness came back, and she died on April 28, 2003.

Ms. Jiang Dushan was a 76 year old retired employee of the Deyang City Second Heavy Metal Factory in Sichuan Province. Her chronic diabetes was cured after practicing Falun Dafa in 1997, and she regained her energy and vitality. She wanted to clarify the truth with her personal experience after July 20, 1999, when the persecution began. She went to Beijing in February 2000 but was detained for 15 days by the police. Her retirement pension was drastically cut, leaving her with only a minimal living allowance. Local 610 agents and police continually harassed her and threatened her at her home. Ms. Jiang could not live normally and practice the exercises or read Zhuan Falun. Her healthy body became sick again, and she died on August 5, 2000.

Ms. Chen Shuxiang was 76 years old and lived in Benxi City, Liaoning Province. After she began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996, her long-term severe arthritis was cured. Her husband, son and daughter started practicing after witnessing the miraculous impact on Ms. Chen. When the persecution started in 1999, Ms. Chen and her husband were house-sitting for her daughter in Shandong Province. Police constantly came to harass them. She was deeply hurt by the stress and pressure of the harassment, and she died on April 24, 2004.
