(Clearwisdom.net) To commemorate the 6th anniversary of the April 25, 1999 peaceful appeal, practitioners in Cambridge held a one-week photo exhibit in the city library. The photos reveal how Falun Gong practitioners in China are being subjected to brutal persecution. The photos also conveyed the reason behind the persecution: former President Jiang Zemin was jealous of Falun Gong's popularity, and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which he governed, is notorious for its principles of "falsity, evilness and violence." These principles are very different from Falun Gong, which is based on "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance."

Photo exhibit held at Cambridge's city library exposes the persecution

According to Falun Gong practitioners who held the photo exhibit, people always ask why the Chinese government persecutes Falun Gong. Since the Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party was published, people now understand that it is because of the CCP's evil nature.

After viewing the photos, one local Chinese man sighed, "Falun Gong is really amazing. You see, whoever the CCP aims to knock down would be beaten down in three days. But Falun Gong is different. It has been six years since the April 25th appeal. Nowadays, Falun Gong is popular all over the world and is known by more and more people." He also mentioned that he had seen Falun Gong practitioners making around-the-clock peaceful demonstrations outside the Chinese Embassy in London. He admired the determination of the practitioners.

Many Western people who saw the photos were shocked by the CCP's atrocities against Falun Gong. They found it hard to imagine that such a brutal persecution is happening on the other side of the earth and that China is deliberately concealing the facts of the persecution. They believe, just as what the photos try to convey, that truth cannot be destroyed by torture, and that justice exists in the world. The spirit of Falun Gong practitioners' April 25, 1999 peaceful petition will exist in the human world forever.
