Brief Update on Orphan Du Shuai, Son of Falun Dafa Practitioner Du Xu

(Clearwisdom.net) Du Shuai is the orphan son left behind when Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Du Xu, who was a resident of Nanyang City, Henan Province, died as a result of persecution. Du Shuai was then only 10 years old. Thereafter, he has lived with his grandparents and depends completely on them.

Du Shuai was born on May 6, 1990. He currently attends school in Class 1, Secondary Level, of the No. 4 Secondary School on Jianshezhong Road in Nanyang City, Henan Province. His teacher is Mr. Zhao (cell phone: 86-13949387467).

When he was 3 years old, Du Shuai's mother divorced his father, then remarried and moved to another place. Du Shuai and his father depended on each other and lived very simply. Du Xu at that time had been laid off by the Roulian Factory in Nanyang City. As Du Xu persisted in practicing Falun Gong and was persecuted up to the time of his death, Du Shuai was forced to live with his grandparents, who are Falun Dafa practitioners in their sixties and seventies. He depended on their meager pension for his daily living expenses.

Practitioner Du Xu was so badly injured by the police officers from the Wancheng Police Station that he lost consciousness. He was sent to the hospital at 1:00 p.m. on November 28, 2000, and he passed away at 5.30 a.m. on January 10, 2001. He was only 35 years old.
