Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Gao Xizhen Died in January 2005 As a Result of the Persecution

(Clearwisodm.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Gao Xizhen was 65 years old and lived in Dongfanghong Forestry, Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province. She started practicing Falun Gong in 1998. She always worked to clarify the truth to save people even when Jiang Zemin and his regime were persecuting Falun Dafa .

In October 2000, Ms. Gao went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa. The local police escorted her back home and then detained her for nearly two months. In December 2001, the police arrested Ms. Gao at her home and police officers Chang Yaqun (male) and Yu Zhanhai (male) brutally beat her. She was also locked up on an iron chair (1) for an entire night. In October 2003, Ms. Gao was arrested while posting Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials. When the police beat her this time, she suffered bleeding in her brain. After that incident, she often lost her memory and lost consciousness. On the afternoon of January 23, 2005, Gao Xizhen passed out again and never regained consciousness. She died that same day at 11 p.m.

The following are the relevant facts concerning the persecution and death of Ms. Gao:

Ms. Gao Xizhen lived in Dongfanghong Forestry, Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province. After she started practicing Falun Gong in 1998, all of her physical ailments were completely eliminated. She followed the principles of Falun Dafa, studied the Fa and improved her xinxing. She tried to be a good person everywhere, always thinking of others first. Her neighbors respected her very much because she was always helpful and unselfish.

On July 20, 1999, the cruel persecution of Falun Gong began. Ms. Gao could not understand why the government banned such a good practice. She wondered, "Why is it wrong to be a truthful, compassionate and tolerant person?" In October 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal. After many hardships, Ms. Gao finally arrived in Beijing to tell the government how much she had benefited from her practice of Falun Gong. However, Ms. Gao was arrested in Tiananmen Square, escorted back home by the local police, detained for nearly two months, and forced to pay a large amount of money to the police in order to obtain her release.

In December 2001, the local police entered her house by climbing over the wall while she was taking a noon nap. The police confiscated her Falun Dafa books and Master Li's photo. Gao Xizhen was arrested and taken to the local police station. Police officers Chang Yaqun (male) and Yu Zhanhai (male) brutally beat her and locked her on an iron chair (1) for a whole night. Ms. Gao went on a hunger strike in protest of the illegal detention and abuse. She was released when the police saw that her life was in danger.

In October 2003, Ms. Gao was reported to the police while posting Falun Dafa truth clarifying materials. The police arrested her and beat her until she suffered bleeding in her brain. She passed out, but the police did not take her to the hospital for treatment. Instead they drove her to her house in Yu Zhanhai's personal car. Police officers Du Hai (male), Chang Yaqun (male), Yu Zhanhai (male), and Qiu Changcheng (male) dragged Ms. Gao, in a semi-conscious state, into her house, again took her Falun Dafa books and robbed her of more than one thousand yuan, the living expenses that her son had given her. Her family sent her to the hospital where they found that Ms. Gao had blood clots in her brain. She remained unconscious for several days. Her family wanted to sue the police, but no court dared to accept the case. Since the injury, Gao Xizhen often lost her memory or passed out and fell to the floor. On the afternoon of January 23, 2005, she passed out again but never regained consciousness. She died on the same day at 11 p.m.
