(Clearwisdom.net) My name is Jiang Zhenghua. I am from Chenpu Village, Baiguo Town, Macheng City, Hubei Province.

I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. Through studying the Fa and doing the exercises, I understood the true meaning of life and knew that one should try to be a good person according to the principle of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. My previous illnesses miraculously disappeared.. I benefited a lot both physically and spiritually.

At 2 pm on September 13, 2004, I was telling some passerby about Dafa near Longchi Elementary School in downtown Macheng City. A policeman noticed me and sent a police car and seven motorcycles with 12 people. They forcefully arrested me and sent me to the Longchi Bridge Police Station. Later on, they transferred me to the Baiguo Police Station when they found out that I was from Baiguo.

At 9 pm, Liu Shifa, the superintendent from Baiguo Town Police Station, interrogated me. When he asked me about the source of the materials, I refused to answer. He got very angry, and he sprung up out of his chair and slapped my face four times. Then, he threw me to the ground and forced me to kneel down. He then grabbed both of my hands and slapped my ear heavily about forty times. Then, he pulled me up and threw a picture frame with Teacher's picture in it towards my head. The glass broke into pieces. The right side of my head was cut, and blood flowed down to my shoulder. Peng Honghui, the assistant superintendent, took Teacher's picture and burned it with a lighter in front of everyone. Meanwhile, another group of police was arguing with each other, fighting for the money they extorted from Dafa practitioners.

At 11 pm, they handcuffed both of my hands behind my back onto a chair until the next afternoon. Then, they sent me to the Longchi Bridge Police Station of Macheng City and started a round of interrogation. Superintendent Ding repeatedly asked me how many messages I had posted and how many flyers I had distributed. The result of their interrogation here was the same as that in Baiguo Police Station. They were supposed to release me and let me go home immediately, but they still didn't want to give up. They wanted to get some money out of me. They sent me to the city police station and detained me there for six days and extorted 500 yuan from me. The police station in Baiguo Town also extorted 500 yuan from me. I am a farmwife who is over 50 years old and has no other income than farming.

After July 20, 1999, my family has not been left in peace for a single day. Xu Shiquan, the Party Secretary of the Politics and Law Committee from Baiguo Town, came to my home every two or three days. In collusion with the village cadres, they forcefully took pictures, played some movies vilifying Dafa, and pushed propaganda materials slandering Falun Gong. They extorted money for taking the pictures, showing the movie, and selling the materials. They took away Teacher's picture, my tape recorder, books, clothes and other personal belongings. Both my husband and I were extorted out of over 6,000 yuan. In order to make these payments, we had to sell 1,200 jin [one jin equals half a kilogram] of storage paddy, a pig, and 300 jin of cotton. We also had to borrow money from others.

The above is one example of the countless cases of persecution. This type of persecution is still happening all around us. I hope that kind people will work together to stop this persecution as soon as possible.
