On April 28, 2005, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Caifeng from Shanghai, in her 60s, was arrested when she was clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa at Gaoqiao Town, in the Pudongxin District. She is currently being held at the Pudongxin District's Zhangjiang Detention Center. The National Security Team of Pudongxin District is in charge of the case.

On May 17, 2005, Yang Sanchun from the Zhishan District, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province was arrested for distributing the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party."

On April 18, 2005, personnel from the National Security Team, the Shuangqiao Police Department, Chengde City, Hebei Province arrested more than ten Falun Gong practitioners including Liu Jingfu, Wang Kemin, Bian Lianqun, Li Jicheng, Ms. Xie Ping, and Liang Xiaoping. These practitioners have been transferred to the Shuangluan Branch Police Station in Chengde City. Xu Yongming, the National Security Team head in the police station, is in charge of the case.

At around 7:00 p.m. on May 10, 2005, a gang of policemen from the National Security Team of the Da'an City Police Department broke into and ransacked the home of 47-year-old practitioner Cheng Yanchun from Daweizitun in Dawa Village, Da'an City, Jilin Province. They confiscated a Falun Dafa book and some truth-clarifying materials. They arrested Cheng and interrogated him at the police department and later put him into a local detention center.

Practitioner Mr. Liu Lianyi, around 35 years old, is an employee of the Weaving and Knitting Factory in Longjing City, Jilin Province. He was discovered when posting words such as "Falun Dafa is good." Police confiscated a computer and a printer from his home. At present, Liu Lianyi has been sentenced to three years of imprisonment. On May 19, 2005 he was put into the Tiebei Prison.

Practitioner Sui Xin from Fuxin City, Liaoning Province was again sentenced to five years of imprisonment after he served two years of forced labor. He has been held at the No. 2 Prison at the Shenyang City Prison Complex for almost three years.

During the evening on May 9, 2005, practitioner Yan Yuanrong living in the Huangzhong Community, Chengdu City, was arrested for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. On May 17, personnel from the Huangzhong Police Station and from the Huangzhong Community Office ransacked Yan's home.

On May 6, 2003, practitioner Ms. Li Yajuan from Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province was put into the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for two years of forced labor for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. Because of her determination to her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, even after the due date of May 6, 2005 was up, the authorities of the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp didn't release her. Instead they extended her forced labor term by 40 days. They required her to write a Guarantee Statement and give up her practice; otherwise, they would sentence her to imprisonment.

Practitioner Mr. Lei Jiangtao from Leichen Village, Yuantou Township, Jinzhou City is now being held at the Jidong Prison. He has been on a hunger strike for many days and is now being force-fed twice a day. He has become extremely weak due to the torture. His life is currently in peril.

Practitioner Mr. Tang Yi from Chongqing, 42 years old, holds a post-graduate degree. In 1999 he was expelled from his work unit, the No.5 Division, No.11 Bureau of the China Railway Bureau. Later he was sentenced to three years of forced labor at the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp and suffered brutal torture there. His health was destroyed and had symptoms of tuberculosis. He has an ulcer on the lateral side of one of his thighs for a long time and difficulty walking. In order to avoid responsibility, personnel from the labor camp released Tang Yi after extorting 20,000 Yuan in the name of so-called "deposit money."

In order to support his family, Tang Yi had to go elsewhere to find a job. On his way home on April 24, 2005, police from the Kunming City Railway Station arrested him only because Tang Yi had a laptop computer with him. At present, Tang Yi is staging a hunger strike to resist the persecution. He is extremely weak now.

After 10:00 p.m. on May 22, 2005, Zhang Yongxin and two other policemen from Chicheng County collaborated with three people who claimed to be policemen from Beijing and broke into practitioner Ms. Wei Shufeng's home in Chicheng County. They forcibly took Wei Shufeng away for no reason. The next day, Wei Shufeng's family members went to the Chicheng County Police Department to inquire about Wei Shufeng's situation. Policeman Zhang Yongxin, chief of the No. 1 Section of the Chicheng County Police Department, told them, "Police from Beijing took Wei Shufeng away."

It's said that personnel from Fuyu County, Qiqihar City arrested several practitioners including Jiang Haitao, Xu Xuezhi, Ms. Xi Shuqin and Wang Ai'min. They are now being held at the Fuyu County Detention Center.

Practitioner Mr. Wang Yang from Weifang City was arrested and sentenced to imprisonment. Rumor has it that he is currently being detained at the Qingdao City Prison. The details are under investigation.

At 7:00 p.m. on April 20, 2005, two women from the Laobao Neighborhood Community Office took the excuse of checking registered permanent residents and entered Wang Zhigang's home. Two policemen from the Jinzhou City National Security Bureau named Song Zhenming and Li Zuowen followed, arrested Wang Zhigang and took Wang to the city's No.1 Detention Center, where he is still being held.

At noon of May 22, 2005 when Song Chengming was distributing truth-clarifying materials, five people in a yellow minivan tracked him and arrested him afterwards. The details are unknown.

At about 8:30 p.m. on May 23, 2005 when Ms. Duan Sumei and Fei Hongjie were clarifying the truth at the Longjiang North Neighborhood Community, five plainclothes policemen arrested them.

Practitioner Mr. Mu Liansong, around 30 years old, from Chuzhou City, was a traffic policeman with the No. 4 Team of the city's traffic division. In January 2001 he was arrested for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and then detained for one month. He lost his job, as well.

During the night on May 13, 2005, people who claimed they were from the Quanjiao County Police Department arrested Mu Liansong at Quanjiao County. He is currently being detained at the Quanjiao County Detention Center (phone number: 86-550-5030019). His family went to visit him but was not allowed to see him. It is not known whether or not he is still alive.

On April 27, 2005 when the couple Jiuling and Shuliu from Yanshi City, Henan Province, were distributing truth-clarifying materials at Lijia Village, Koudian Township, they were arrested and have not yet been released.

On May 12, 2005, when Falun Gong practitioner Xin Zhengchao from Dengfeng City was distributing truth-clarifying materials at a school in Lushan County, he was arrested and is currently being held at the Lushan County Police Department.

In December 2004 Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Yuanheng held a hunger strike at the Yanshi Detention Center for over 20 days to protest his illegal detention.

Around May 20, 2005, Yanshi People's Court sentenced Zhang Yuanheng and Shao Jizhong to seven years in prison and Wang Genju to four years in prison. Zhang Yuanheng held an eight-day hunger strike to protest the unjust verdict.

From the fourth day on, the guards force-fed Zhang Yuanheng by inserting a tube through his nose once a day, causing Zhang's nose, mouth and throat to bleed. Each time they extorted 30 Yuan from Zhang's family. Zhang Yuanheng feels seriously ill and has been sent to the Yanshi City No. 4 People's Hospital for transfusion. The guards have extorted from Zhang's family five to six thousand Yuan.

The police arrested practitioner He Guangfeng from Wuzhi, Henan Province at the Jiaozuo Train Station on May 18, 2005 as he carried Dafa materials. He is currently being held at the Wuzhi Detention Center.

Police arrested practitioner Lian Xiuli from Shihezi, Xinjiang Autonomous Region on February 6, 2005. The police ransacked her home and took Dafa materials and truth clarification flyers. Lian Xiuli has been held at the Shihezi No. 1 Detention Center up until now.

We have been told that Lian Xiuli's case has been transferred to the city Procuratorate and the perpetrators plan to sentence her to prison. He Jianxin and Gong, two people who participated in the persecution, were awarded 50,000 Yuan.

On April 25, 2005, police officer Liao Wu led a group of perpetrators. They arrested practitioners Huang Guixia, Liu Luotian and Wang Hainan in Heyuan City, Guangdong Province. The practitioners have been held for over a month.

At around 3:00 p.m. on February 21, 2005, practitioner Wang Suorong from Hengshui, Hebei Province was clarifying the truth at Daqing Road in Hengshui. A beige police van from the Lubei Police Station followed her and a plainclothes police officer tricked her into getting into the van. The police pinned her down, put her arms behind her back and body-searched her. They took the truth clarification materials in her pocket and bag and took her to Lubei Police Station.

Without following any legal procedure, Wang, the deputy head of the Lubei Police Station, sent Wang Suorong to the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp on April 30, 2005, to be held for one-and-a-half years. The guards said to her husband, "There is nothing we can do; if we don't do this to her, we'll lose our job since she publicly defied the CCP."

On January 23, 2001 I was sent to Shuangcheng Detention Center, where Zhu Xiangguo was held. I was held there for one month, and I witnessed the persecution of Zhu Xiangguo.

According to Zhu Xiangguo, he went to Beijing to validate Dafa during the 2001 Chinese New Year. He was arrested in Tiananmen Square. Because he refused to give his name and address, the police poured buckets of cold water on him and kicked his abdomen with their boots. They beat him so savagely that his shirt was stuck to his back with his own blood.

During his incarceration at the Shuangcheng Detention Center, the perpetrators from the Shuangcheng City 610 Office ordered his family to persuade him to give up Dafa. His brother beat and kicked him; his wife, sister-in-law and child knelt on the floor and begged him, but Zhu Xiangguo remained steadfast.

Later he was sent to the Qiulin Company Brainwashing Class in Shuangcheng City and held there for several months. Soon after his release, he went to Beijing again to validate Dafa and was again sent to a detention center.
