Twenty-Three Falun Dafa Practitioners in Guangdong Province, Shanghai, Hebei Province, Shandong Province Passed Away Under Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xi Ensheng, 27 years old, lived in Gaozhou City, Guangdong Province. He obtained Falun Dafa in 1997. In 2000 he went to Beijing to appeal, where he was intercepted and illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor. In early 2004 he distributed truth clarification materials and was again arrested. At the police department he was hung up and beaten for three days and three nights. Mr. Xi was not allowed to sleep and he started vomiting blood after he was sent to a detention center. The police didn't allow his family to visit him and sentenced him to three years at the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and the labor camp refused to take him. After he returned home, the perpetrators from the local 610 Office and local police constantly harassed him. He passed away on May 22, 2005.

Practitioner Mr. Zhao Wenxi, 56 years old, worked at Group 4 at the Jianan Farm in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province. He obtained Dafa in 1998. In 2001 he was reported when hanging banners to clarify the truth and was arrested by officers from the Jianan Police Station. He was released the next day on medical parole. Three days later he was sent to the Jiamusi City Detention Center. The police persecuted him for two months. Mr. Zhao was in very poor health when he returned home in April 2001. He passed away in October 2001.

Practitioner Ms. Li Hua was born in 1952 and he worked at the No. 2 Construction Company in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province. He started practicing Dafa in June 1995, right after he was diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage. He quickly recovered. After the persecution began, Li Hua was persecuted and was not able to practice Dafa. He suffered a relapse and passed away on January 12, 2005.

Practitioner Mr. Lin Yuexi was 48 years old and lived in Liubin Village, Tongle Township, Qingan County, Heilongjiang Province. He was later sent to a farm at Division 1 of Machang in Libo County, Qitaihe City. In May 2001 he was sentenced to three years of forced labor and was later transferred to the Suihua Forced Labor Camp. In April 2004 people saw guards at the Suihua Forced Labor Camp carrying and dragging Lin Yuexi and forcing him to run on the drilling ground. He passed away soon after this incident.

Practitioner Mr. Lu Longfu, 64 years old, lived in the Pudongxin District in Shanghai City. He was suffering from late-stage throat cancer and could barely swallow water. He could not take care of himself. He became completely healthy, however, after he started practicing Dafa in 1998. He was able to eat normal food and regained the ability to take care of himself. After the persecution against Dafa began on July 20, 1999, he lived in fear and was persecuted, but he never renounced the practice. He passed away on May 13, 2000.

Practitioner Ms. Piao Chunzi lived in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. He was compelled to leave home after all the practitioners in the same group of Fa study as him were arrested. He passed away in the fall of 2003.

Practitioner Mr. Han Rong was in his 80s and lived in Wanlong Village, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. In late 2000, his daughter-in-law was sent to a brainwashing class held at the township government. He went to visit her and the perpetrators intimidated him. He passed away later that night.

Practitioner Ms. Guo Xiuying, 60 years old, lived in the Jiananli, Haigang District, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. Perpetrators from the Haigang Police Department in Qinhuangdao City arrested her twice. The police savagely beat her and stabbed her hands with chopsticks until her body was covered with bruises. She was in poor health after her release and lost consciousness at one time. The perpetrators sent her to a hospital and injected her with sedatives. She was in a deep coma for three days and passed away in April 2005.

Practitioner Ms. Li Cuiyan, 48 years old, worked at the Qinhuangdao City Oil Piping Bureau in Hebei Province. She went to Beijing to validate Dafa and was brutally tortured. In August 2000 she was locked up at the No. 2 Detention Center in Qinhuangdao City. The guards beat her for practicing the Falun Gong exercises. She held a hunger strike and was savagely beaten and force-fed by several guards. She was later sent to the notorious Changli County Brainwashing Class in Qinhuangdao City. After her release, the perpetrators continued to monitor and follow her, and she lived under tremendous mental pressure. She fell from the top of a five-story building and was paralyzed. After four years of suffering, she passed away in March 2005.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Guangqin, 59 years old, lived in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. In 2000 she went to Beijing to appeal and was arrested and sent to the No. 1 Detention Center in Qinhuangdao City, where she was held for about 15 days. Her family took her home after being extorted out of 10,000 Yuan. The police harassed her family day and night. She passed away in August 2003.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Yunqing, 54 years old, lived in Wuan City, Hebei Province. She had incurable leukemia. Ms. Zhang became healthy after she started practicing Dafa. In order to validate Dafa she went to Beijing to appeal on April 25, 1999. After she returned, she was held at the Wuan Brainwashing Class for three days. On July 20, 1999, when the persecution started, the perpetrators from the "610 Office" arrested and held her at Wuan Detention Center for ten days and extorted 5,000 Yuan from her. After she went home, perpetrators from the village police stationand the township government often harassed her at home. She had a relapse of her old illness and passed away on January 7, 2004.

Practitioner Mr. Li Guide, 61 years old, lived in Wuan City, Hebei Province. He went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa on April 25, 1999 and July 20, 1999. After he went home, perpetrators from the township police station and from the village "610 Office" persecuted him. He passed away on March 18, 2003.

Practitioner Mr. Liu Qiuming, 57 years old, lived in Wuan City, Hebei Province. He went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa on April 25, 1999. After he went home, perpetrators from the township police station and from the village "610 Office" persecuted him. He passed away on December 23, 2001.

Practitioner Mr. Liu Suoming, 51 years old, lived in Wuan City, Hebei Province. He went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa when the persecution began on July 20, 1999. Once back home, perpetrators from the township police station and from the village "610 Office" persecuted him. He passed away on August 15, 2000.

Practitioner Ms. Yan Suheng, 66 years old, lived in Wuan City, Hebei Province. She went to Beijing to validate Dafa on July 20, 1999. After she went home, perpetrators from the township police station and from the village "610 Office" persecuted her. She passed away on June 26, 2003.

Practitioner Mr. Zou Dekui, 59 years old, lived in Maozuo Village, Tengjia Town, Rongcheng City, Shandong Province. He lived with his mother-in-law in a village in Yandun, Laoshan Town. After July 20, 1999, he persisted in his belief and upheld Dafa. Perpetrators from the Rongcheng City Police Department arrested and sent him to a brainwashing class. He was later reported when making truth clarification materials. Mr. Zou was sentenced to three years of forced labor and released on medical parole in the spring of 2003. He was savagely tortured at the labor camp, at the Rongcheng Detention Center and at the brainwashing center. His toenails were torn off, and he suffered a nervous breakdown. He left home on June 14, 2003, and his body was found on June 18. His brother Zou Dejian, a worker at the city car parts factory, identified his body.

Practitioner Mr. Zhao Tangrong, around 60 years of age, lived in Xiqiganshi Village, Shangzhuang Town, Rongcheng City, Shandong Province. He was cured of numerous illnesses after he started practicing Dafa. After July 20, 1999, the police often went to his home to terrorize, threaten and harass him, and they also sent people to follow and monitor him. He had a relapse of his old illnesses and passed away in the winter of 1999.

Practitioner Ms. Yang Dongfen was in her 40s and lived in Jiaohe City, Jilin Province. After July 20, 1999 her home was ransacked, but she persisted in studying the Fa, sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth. Due to long-term persecution, she showed symptoms of illness and passed away in the fall of 2004.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Guiying, 65 years old, lived in Jiaohe City, Jilin Province. She went to Beijing to validate Dafa in the winter of 2000. After she returned, persons from her work unit persecuted her for a very long time. She passed away in the spring of 2004.

Practitioner Ms. Li Shuqin, 72 years old, lived at Hadawan Street, Jilin City. She could not take care of herself before she obtained Dafa in 1996. One of her lungs was completely dysfunctional. She recovered fully after she started practicing Dafa and could do all kinds of chores. After July 20, 1999, the police harassed her and searched her home for Dafa books. The head of her work unit talked to her husband several times. Her son said to the head of the work unit, "We have signed a guarantee statement and agreed that we would be fired if anyone in our family practices Falun Gong." She fell ill under tremendous pressure from the perpetrators and from her family, and passed away on January 28, 2000.

Practitioner Ms. Hou Taorong, 90 years old, lived in Dongjiao, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province. After she obtained Dafa in 1998, she was cured of an enlarged heart and several other illnesses. In 2001 her son was taken away and the perpetrators persecuted her. She suffered a mental collapse and passed away in 2004.

Practitioner Mr. Liu Xingmin, 73 years old, was a retired worker in Guole City, Huolin, the Inner Mongolia Autonomic Region. After he obtained Dafa in the fall of 1998, he was cured of high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and several other illnesses. After July 20, 1999, the perpetrators went to his home to search for Dafa books. They arrested him and sent him to a brainwashing class. They also ordered him to write a guarantee statement. They often harassed him. He suffered mentally and physically, and he had a relapse and passed away in August 2002.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Aihua, 65 years old, obtained Dafa in 1996. She was cured of numerous illnesses and also grew calmer and kinder. She enjoyed helping other people and told others about how Dafa led to a change in her and her family, and she thanked Teacher for saving her. After July 20, 1999 she went to fellow practitioners and asked for help in protecting Teachers' pictures and Dafa books. She distributed truth clarification materials and told people about the persecution. The perpetrators threatened to disqualify her son from a promotion if she didn't give up Dafa practice. Her son knelt before her and begged her not to practice anymore, and he didn't allow other practitioners to talk to her. She showed symptoms of illness and almost lost her eyesight in both eyes. Her whole body swelled up and she could not take care of herself. She passed away before the 2002 Chinese New Year.
