(Clearwisdom.net) From June 3 to 5, the 90th anniversary
celebration of National Central University and the annual graduation ceremony
were held on campus. For the very first time, the university held a Faculty and
Staff Organization Expo during this special period. More than 20 groups
participated in this expo. The Falun Gong Club was invited, and received wide
praise during the expo.
The president of the university attended the opening ceremony. In a speech he
said, "The activities of the various organizations on campus are very
important because they can enhance friendship and improve work efficiency."
Director Lin of human resources, the hosting unit, said: "Our faculty and
staff members have 21 different organizations. This is the very first expo to
showcase our campus organizations and we thank the support and guidance from the
President. We also thank all the members of these organizations for their
participation." Many university VIPs, professors, staff members, students
and residents in the nearby community attended the ceremony, packing the expo
site.
Besides poster presentations, several clubs, including the Falun Gong Club,
presented exquisite performances. Newly formed and the youngest club at the
university, the Falun Gong Club presented nine large posters, all rich in
content. At the expo site, Director Lin commended the Falun Gong Club for their
contribution to the university community.
The Falun Dafa Club prepared a brief introduction, with
highlights of their activities. They gave an introduction to the history of
Falun Dafa, talked about the worldwide support and the many proclamations
received, the health benefits of Falun Dafa, and the truth of the persecution in
China. They also gave a Falun Gong exercise demonstration. Practitioners stated
that the goal of the club is to let people know about the brutal persecution
against Falun Gong in China and to show the public that Falun Gong is a
wonderful and profound cultivation method of mind and body.

Many people viewed the practitioners' exhibition with great
interest
On the afternoon of June 4, the various campus organizations had
a talent show on the stage, and the Falun Gong Club participated. Nearly 20
faculty and staff members and their family members went onto the stage to
demonstrate the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Five practitioners in the
first row demonstrated the sitting meditation. The audience was really surprised
to see that a little girl was among the five practitioners. The emcee then asked
the audience to show their encouragement to the small girl with a round of warm
applause. As soon as the exercise music started, the practitioners started to
demonstrate the exercises. Many spectators in the audience imitated the
exercises along with the practitioners. After the performance, the Falun Gong
Club had a continuous flow of visitors. The practitioners hope that all of the
visitors will have an opportunity to practice Falun Gong in the future.

During this expo, the Falun Gong Club displayed more than 100 paper lotus
flower bookmarks. Together with colorful Falun Dafa bookmarks, they were
distributed to visitors. Dr. Roettger, a scholar from Germany, participated in
the performance. After the performance, he felt so good and all his worry before
the performance disappeared. He felt that his performance was much better than
he thought it would be. People at the site said that they could feel a strong
energy field during the Falun Gong demonstration.
One staff member asked many questions. She said that she had practiced
another Qigong exercise system for a long time and she recently was not feeling
very well. She said that many people had recommended that she practice Falun
Gong. After she heard practitioners' introduction to Falun Gong, she said that
she would try it.
Another staff member said that one of her relatives is very weak and she thus
took some Falun Gong information for the relative. "Because I have heard
that Falun Gong is quite beneficial," she said, "I will mail my
relative these materials." The woman came to the expo for two consecutive
days, and practitioners also invited her to come to see practitioners'
demonstration on the afternoon of June 4. She said that she would come for sure.
It is worth mentioning a special staff member, who had attended several Falun
Gong workshops and read Zhuan Falun twice. She started to
practice with other practitioners on campus every morning ever since the club
invited a professor practitioner to give a presentation. This woman has now read
Zhuan Falun three times. After the stage performance, she was so moved by
the energy that Falun Dafa has brought to her. She then said that she would
convince her husband to practice as well.

About the Falun Gong Club
National Central University has a history of 90 years. The university has a
wonderful environment and encourages all kinds of exercises and activities. On
campus, a large variety of organizations thus grows quickly. Through these
activities, many faculty members and students build social networks and improve
their physical and spiritual health. As there were more and more Falun Gong
practitioners on campus, a Falun Dafa club was established this March with
support from the university. Members of the club practice Falun Gong every
morning and evening on campus, and thus a lot people with predestined
relationships have joined them one after another. Through this expo of
organizations on campus, more people expressed their wish to practice Falun
Gong.
