Please Pay Attention to Eliminating Interference from the Demon of Lust

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, several fellow practitioners in our area have
been interfered with by demons of lust, which in turn seriously interfered with
Fa-validation work in our area. Before 1999, a fellow practitioner's (A) wife passed away. After July 20,
1999, A had been illegally sent to a forced-labor-camp because he persistently
practiced Falun Gong. During his time in the forced-labor-camp, he was steadfast
in his belief in Master and Falun Dafa, and he firmly resisted the persecution
with righteous thoughts. His righteous beliefs and deeds awed the evil. After he
was released he was devoted to the powerful current of Fa-rectification. He took
on a lot of Dafa-validation work. During this period, practitioner A was
seriously interfered with by the demon of lust. At the beginning he had intimate
feelings toward a female practitioner (B), who is more than ten years younger
than he. Practitioner B graciously refused him. She also kindly pointed out his
attachment. But practitioner A did not look inside himself in order to improve.
Instead he got acquainted with female practitioner C, who was divorced. The two
of them fell in love at first sight and became trapped in their affections.
Later, because of her son's strong opposition, they were not able to get
married. Practitioner C was seriously disturbed by this and was trapped in an
undesirable state. However, practitioner A still did not look within, and
instead got acquainted with another female practitioner (D), who was also
divorced. Without going through legal registration they held a ceremony and
became husband and wife. Soon, because someone reported him to the police,
practitioner A was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution. This
interfered with the normal operation of Fa-validation work. Another practitioner (E), was also a steadfast practitioner. He left a forced
labor camp with dignity, and took on very important work at a local
truth-clarifying materials center. His wife had passed away several years ago,
and he desired to get married again. He frequently dated practitioner F, who was
divorced, and wanted to quickly marry her. At almost the same time that
practitioner A was reported, he was also reported to the policed by a person who
was "transformed" by the evil. Practitioner E was arrested and taken
to a detention center. Another young female practitioner, with a pure and innocent mind, had worked
diligently to validate Dafa. With self-initiative, she took on the work of
delivering truth-clarifying materials. After she married, she became trapped in
her affection, which finally resulted her giving up her cultivation in Falun
Gong. Master mentioned in Zhuan Falun (Lecture 6, "Your
Mind Must be Right"): "I have told ...... that in ancient times, the royal court was once
plagued by Da Ji. ......" Master also said, "So I urge those students who are still being irrational: come to your
senses and be responsible to your own lives. Your own attachments have led
wicked beings from outside to command, interfere with, and control you, making
you so irrational." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa
Conference in New York") Our true original selves are pure and kind. The sexual desire and lust are
not our true selves and we should eliminate them with righteous thoughts. Our fellow practitioners were not intimidated by life and death, and they
went through all kinds of tribulations. But it was really painful to see that
they were seriously interfered with by the demon of lust when the Fa-rectification
is so near completion. Master said, "To walk this path well and progress to its end--nothing is more
extraordinary. I say that because during the journey you will have hardships,
tests of every sort, unforeseen ordeals, and you will have unexpected
interference from all kinds of attachments and emotion. The interference will
come from family, society, good friends, and even fellow cultivators. And
along with this there is interference from changes in the state of human
society and from human notions that were formed in society. All of those
things can drag you back to being like an ordinary person."
("Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference") Fellow practitioners, if we cannot find our attachments in time, and if we
cannot eliminate these attachments during cultivation, we will lose that for
which we have waited thousands and thousands of years. This is very dangerous.
It appeared, superficially, that these fellow practitioners were reported by
those people who had been "transformed" by the evil, but the real
reason was that their attachments, which they could not discard, were used by
the evil in other dimensions. "Therefore, as to the many attachments that come from sentimentality,
we should take them lightly and eventually abandon them. Desires, lust, and
things of these sorts are all human attachments, and all of them should be
