Those with Their Third Eyes Open and Their Fellow Practitioners Should All Cultivate Based on the Fa

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, something happened in my area. The lesson was profound. We are still in the process of understanding it.

Practitioner A's relative, practitioner B, lived out of town. The old forces persecuted Dafa practitioner C who lived in the same village as practitioner B. Even though we all helped to send righteous thoughts, practitioner C was still unconscious. B was very worried. She remembered what A told her about a young practitioner whose third eye was open. She was able to see scenes in other dimensions. Through A's connection, B asked the young practitioner to see what was harming the unconscious C in other dimensions. The young practitioner looked with her third eye and said that evil demons were harming C, and C's main consciousness was already in hell. The young practitioner added that she could get C's main consciousness back. She told all the practitioners in the same village to send forth righteous thoughts together at a certain time. Afterward, the young practitioner saw that the evil demon was eliminated. B was full of hope and thought that C would get well. The next day, though, C died.

Practitioners in the village discussed the incident abundantly. B felt a huge amount of pressure. She collapsed mentally and her main consciousness was unable to dominate herself. All kinds of evil demons used this opportunity to harm her. B's brother also appeared to be in bad shape. After talking to him, we found out that it was because of foreign messages and demonic interference from his own mind. He believed whatever the foreign evil demons told him.

Teacher has addressed these issues thoroughly in his lectures. Why can't we do things in accordance with the Fa? We studied the Fa regularly, but only studied for the sake of studying the Fa. We didn't take the Fa as guidance in our cultivation. Now practitioners are busy with Dafa work. Whenever a Xinxing problem arises we seldom discuss it. Little by little, we neglected Fa study and Xinxing cultivation. Some practitioners haven't taken care of some basic problems for a long time, not even wanting to solve them. Those practitioners are more likely to be hurt by evil beings.

The Fa Teacher taught is our guide to cultivation! Our cultivation manifests with every thought and every action in our daily lives. Study the Fa well! By using the Fa to evaluate things we will be able to find attachments. With strong righteous thoughts, we can easily get rid of the attachments. Teacher once said,

"You can use the seminar form to have everyone communicate with one another, and you may discuss and share things with one another. We require that you do it this way." (Zhuan Falun, Third Translation Edition, 2000 )

By doing this, we will be able to strive forward and raise our levels together. Studying the Fa together and doing Dafa work together is right. But if we seldom talk about Xinxing problems, once someone faces a life and death test and we do not cope with it calmly, it may easily interfere with our truth clarification effort as a whole body. At the same time, this creates additional negative instances and interference for practitioners who are directly involved and for those practitioners who are around.

In our busy lives, if we don't pay attention to cultivation and don't look readily inward, we may not realize some attachments. Maybe Teacher will use other people's mouths to give hints. If we do not talk about our problems or ignore other practitioner's problems, how can we be dignified and upright practitioners? With numerous attachments, how can we do Dafa work well? We can't always wait until a problem gets worse and count on sending righteous thoughts to "solve it."

"What is visible to those who can see are merely manifestations shown to them at their particular low levels, and they are unable to see things at higher levels. If someone in charge uses such a person to examine other students, this person will develop an attachment to showing off. Moreover, his demon-nature will also cause interference and damage, so what he sees will be transformed by his mind activities. It was wrong for him to examine Dafa disciples in the first place. The person in charge who asked him to examine students also didn't follow my words." ("Another Comment on Evaluation Criteria" from Essentials for Further Advancement)

Her level limits what her third eye can see. The ability that Teacher gives her is also based on her Xinxing level. Teacher had made this very clear in the topic of reverse cultivation and energy borrowing. She can neither see nor is able to do anything on a level higher than her own. The root of interference usually comes from a very high level. Moreover, no one, not even fellow practitioners, can see another practitioner's true cultivation state. Even if the young practitioner saw a true situation, her vision was only at the level of her cultivation state. She can't possibly see it completely or clearly. And to repeat, as Teacher said,

"It was wrong for him to examine Dafa disciples in the first place. The person in charge who asked him to examine students also didn't follow my words." ("Another Comment on Evaluation Criteria" from Essentials for Further Advancement)

Why did so many practitioners still urge the young practitioner to look at it? The problem at present is serious. It is not just a matter of one or two practitioners but is a matter of exposing the attachments and loopholes that we had as a whole body. We were moved by human notions, such as the attachment of wanting to see, out of curiosity, worry and complacency. We didn't really understand the Fa, or evaluate everything in light of it.

Being able to see with one's third eye is a good thing. How to perceive and take care of this matter with righteous thinking relies on frequent Fa study and applying the Fa to evaluate things.

Child practitioners usually don't study the Fa that much. Practitioners who stay at home more should help and guide young practitioners from the standpoint of the Fa, encouraging them to study the Fa more. When the young practitioner saw many evil demons and was unable to eliminate them all, we should have helped. But we should be alert and be aware of serious unusual events, such as beings in other dimensions telling the young practitioner to do things such as sending righteous thoughts at certain times, and with certain people, particularly when it involves several practitioners and requires them to send righteous thoughts for a whole morning, a whole afternoon, or a whole night, or having practitioners bear karma for other practitioners or non-practitioners, or having seen Teacher and Buddhas hold a meeting at her home (in other dimensions). This has already become a serious deviation from Fa.

"Also, some people are always interfered with by foreign messages in their consciousness, and they believe whatever they are told by foreign messages; this problem can also take place. Therefore, some of you with the Celestial Eye open will be interfered with by different sorts of messages."

"In other dimensions, everything is dazzling to the eye, very beautiful and nice, all of which may lure your heart. Once you are moved by it, you might be interfered with and your gong will be messed up--it is usually this way."

Beings from other dimensions interfere based on a practitioner's Xinxing. We must follow Teacher's requirement on sending forth righteous thoughts. Before the Clearwisdom editors publish an editorial notice they always ask Teacher's permission first. They won't publish it until Teacher agrees. But, evaluating things from the standpoint of Teacher's Fa, beings from other dimensions telling practitioners to send forth righteous thoughts at a certain time and with certain number of people is not the right thing to do. Isn't it a form of interference? Aren't they believing whatever they are told by foreign messages?

Many practitioners share the belief that as long as we are sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate evil, we are doing the right thing. At first, I thought this also. I didn't carefully evaluate the situation, or maybe previously I've never thought to evaluate it. Plus, evil demons took advantage of my human notions. To test practitioners' attachments the old forces in other dimensions may transform things at will. Blocked by attachments, how can we tell if it is a true vision or false vision? We need to calm our minds and evaluate it rationally, to be able to tell the difference. Teacher said,

"As Dafa disciples, you should understand things from the Fa. You are Dafa disciples who are upright and dignified. You should rationally think about whether something is in line with the Fa. And then there are students who are always interested in supernormal abilities. I let some students see some of the Fa-rectification's situations in different dimensions, with my intention being to increase the students' confidence in validating the Fa, yet some students still can't handle it right, they don't cultivate based on the Fa, and when something happens they even go ask a student who has supernormal abilities to look at things for them, and then they take what's seen as guidance on how to do things related to Dafa and how to cultivate. That's already very dangerous. Who could possibly see the essence of Fa-rectification? And who could possibly explain the states of those who cultivate in Dafa? The manifestations at the extremely low levels aren't the ultimate, true situation. If you don't cultivate based on the Fa, if you don't act according to the Fa, then are you still a Dafa disciple? Whenever something happens you go ask that other person to see what it's about, but what's he seeing? Who could possibly see your ultimate situation? Even your own child can't see it." Teacher also said,

"an ordinary practitioner should not think of bearing sins for relatives. With that large amount of karma, an average person could not succeed in cultivation." (Zhuan Falun, Lecture 2)

A young practitioner also cultivates from the level of an everyday person. His karma was reduced and borne by Teacher. If a young practitioner wants to bear karma for others, is he able to bear it? To be able to bear karma, Teacher pointed out,

"someone has reached an extremely high level in cultivation practice."

Is it because the practitioner felt that his gong was high enough to do so? Does he have strong human notions in the matter? Teacher said,

"With that large amount of karma, an average person could not succeed in cultivation,"

I think that we should follow Teacher's guidance. What is believing in Teacher, and believing in the Fa? No matter what conflicts or difficulties we encounter, we always follow Teacher's words, in every sense- this is called truly believing in Teacher and the Fa. Teacher has made it very clear in the Fa, yet why would we look for excuses for not letting go of our human notions?

I also walked out of this state. My child's third eye also was opened for a period of time. Meanwhile, all kinds of my human notions emerged. Compassionate Teacher gave me hints, even used my child's mouth to hint, but I still didn't seriously look inward. Not until Teacher closed my child's third eye did I start to look inward. Fellow practitioners shared with me some occurrences and their understandings. I then realized the seriousness of the situation. The situation I see around me now is already a matter concerning all of us as one whole body. We must all understand this matter correctly.
