Governor of the State of Missouri Proclaims May 2005 as Falun Dafa Month [May 11, 2005]


(Clearwisdom.net) On May 11th, 2005, Matt Blunt, Governor of the State of Missouri, proclaimed May 2005 to be Falun Dafa Month in the State of Missouri.

Proclamation

Whereas, Missouri has been continually renewed and enriched by many different people who choose to come here and become our fellow citizens; and

Whereas, Missouri has maintained a close relationship and appreciation for the people, culture and traditions of the Asian community; and

Whereas, the exercise, meditation and teachings of Falun Dafa are founded on the principles of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance, allowing practitioners to seek significant positive effects for stress relief and overall mental and physical health; and

Whereas, Falun Dafa has gained over 100 million worldwide adherent, including residents of Missouri.

Now Therefore, I, Matt Blunt, Governor of Missouri do hereby proclaim May 2005 to be

Falun Dafa Month

In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Missouri, in the City of Jefferson, this 11th day of May 2005.
