These people started off as public servants, but under the intense pressure applied by former president Jiang Zemin and the Communist Party, they were pushed into persecuting Dafa disciples. In the process of destroying the lives of kind, law-abiding citizens, they have sealed their own fates and inevitably faced karmic retribution as punishment. If it weren't for Jiang's wicked orders, perhaps their fates would have been different.

Zhao Zhiqian, former No. 2 Brigade leader from Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp, now has cancer and remains at home. The police have been keeping this incident a secret and are trying not to allow anyone to know. Since 1999, Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp has been following Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party in the persecution of Falun Gong. They have beaten and injured many Dafa practitioners and caused great suffering to practitioners and their families.

Under unjust orders from Jiang and his followers, Yang Jijun, a policeman from Dongting Police Station (formerly Guohu No. 2 Police Station), Wuchang, arrested Falun Gong practitioners everywhere in his district. He showed intense hatred toward practitioners by monitoring them constantly. He physically abused them, including forcing them to squat for long periods of time. On May 24, 2005, Yang Yu, together with two other police officers, were driving to another assignment. Halfway to his destination, Yang Yu fainted and was taken to the hospital. He underwent an operation for a brain hemorrhage. Yang was in a coma for a few days and is still not fully conscious.

Li Aihua, who works in the Woman's Association in Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, is the key person in charge of the 610 Office forced brainwashing classes. She participated in the persecution of Dafa and Dafa practitioners. During the first brainwashing session in Qingyuan City, her husband suddenly became paralyzed and the family spent over 80,000 yuan on medical treatment, but could not find out the reason for his illness. He currently cannot take care of himself. Li Aihua still did not realize the reason behind their misfortune. During the second brainwashing session, Li Aihua monitored Dafa practitioners more strictly and carried out physical and mental torture of practitioners for over three months. During that time, her skin became red and swollen, with severe itching. She suffered diarrhea and had no appetite. Li has had to take medicine and IVs on a regular basis.

Zhang, a branch leader, once worked in the Procuratorate in Qingyuan City. He participated in the persecution of Falun Dafa and Dafa practitioners. After the second brainwashing session, he was diagnosed with late-stage stomach cancer. He died six months later.

Tan Chaoquan, a veteran, participated in the persecution of Falun Dafa and Dafa practitioners. One evening in 2002, after a ten-day brainwashing session in Qingyuan City, a big tree hit him on the head during a thunderstorm. Tan Chaoquan lost his memory and became mentally impaired.

Han Jun, male, who lived in Huangtukan Village, Zushan Township, Qinglong County, Qinhuang Island, was the stationmaster of the land station of Mutoudeng Township, Qinglong County. He once illegally arrested Dafa practitioners. He would not give home building permits to Falun Gong practitioners. Whoever needed the permit had to give him money or go through some illegal method. An investigation found that Han had grafted over 2,000,000 yuan, and he was brought to justice.

Zhao Zhiping, male, 48 years old, was from Henan Tuan Township, Quzhou County, Hebei Province. On February 27, 2005, (lunar calendar), on his way to Qiu County, he had a car accident and died on the spot. He was the assistant bailiff of Henan Tuan Township. After the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, he had harassed and persecuted Dafa practitioners within his district many times.
