Police Chief Helps Falun Dafa Practitioners after Learning the Truth

The chief of a county police department in Henan Province has closely followed the Jiang regime in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners since the persecution began on July 20, 1999. To clarify the truth and save him from committing further crimes against Dafa, practitioners placed truth-clarifying flyers on his doorstep, along with a news report that he was on the list of wicked people who actively persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners. After reading the materials, he changed his attitude toward practitioners.

Recently, while distributing truth-clarifying literature, a middle-school student who was also a Falun Dafa practitioner, was reported to his school principal. As a result, the leadership at his school decided to expel him from the school. Hearing of the situation, the police chief personally met with the principal. "Don't expel him. Nowadays, it's not easy to go to school," he told the principal.

On the afternoon of May 15, an older couple in Jiujiang of Jiangxi Province was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in front of a hotel. Among the audience was another couple from a police department. One of them was a political instructor in the police system. When asked about controversial topics regarding Falun Gong, the older couple peacefully and sincerely answered the questions from the audience. While one person talked about the "reclassification" of Falun Gong by the Chinese communist regime and the escalated persecution, the police instructor from the audience spoke up, "That's right. Falun Gong has indeed been labeled as a reactionary force, but we as police don't take it seriously. For some reason, the group keeps growing."

In the end of April 2005, while getting out of a car intoxicated, a policeman in Li County of Hebei Province got hit by another car as it passed by. He was struck down, and his leg was broken. After that he could not live on his own without assistance. Having learned about the accident, a Falun Dafa practitioner who once clarified the truth to him came to visit, and gave him a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, which he gladly accepted. Silently he recited the words on the card that he received with the book: "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!"

Later he exclaimed, "Falun Dafa is truly miraculous! Since I started reciting 'Falun Dafa is good,' I have been sleeping great, and my leg is no longer painful. No wonder there are so many people practicing Falun Dafa. Falun Dafa can surely save people!"

"Constantly persecuting Falun Gong practitioners since 1999, we just want to keep our posts and make more money," he continued.

He pledged that he would tell every policeman and policewoman in his county not to commit crimes against Dafa practitioners as an accomplice, and not to listen to the lies of the Chinese Communist Party. He told them to seriously read the Nine Commentaries and try to save themselves.
