(Clearwisdom.net) On May 10^th, 2005, Peter J. Kelly, Mayor of Halifax proclaimed May 13, 2005, as Falun Dafa Day in the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Whereas, Falun Dafa is a peaceful cultivation system, following the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance, which provides an excellent way for relieving stress, strengthening physical health and promoting moral standards and social stability; and

Whereas, The organization Falun Dafa indicates a strong commitment that Canada does not discriminate against any legal groups and promotes multiculturalism.

Now Therefore, be it resolved that, I, Peter J. Kelly, Mayor of the Halifax Regional Municipality, do hereby proclaim May 13, 2005, as Falun Dafa Day in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
