By a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shanxi Province

(Clearwisdom.net) I was released from Xindian Forced Labor Camp in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province in the winter of 2001. I remember that it was a very cold day. I was released along with another Falun Gong practitioner in the evening. I said farewell to the practitioner with mixed feelings. My family didn't understand me, and even my second grade daughter looked at me differently.

My daughter said to me, "If you are a good person, why did they throw you in jail?" In her mind, jail is a place where only bad people would be locked up. If daddy was thrown in jail, it must mean he was bad. I sighed and said, "My little girl, haven't you heard this nursery rhyme? If they say you are guilty, you would be guilty even if you are not guilty. If they say you are not guilty, you would not be guilty even if you are guilty. Nowadays, differentiating between guilty and not guilty is not judged on your being a good or bad person, nor is it based on whether you violate the law or not. Daddy just wanted to say something true about Falun Dafa. For that, Daddy was found 'guilty'." After I finished saying that, I felt it was inappropriate. How could such a young child understand and accept this? Her teacher had told her not to lie. How would she know that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has way more power than her teachers? If the CCP forced people to lie, no one dared not to lie. If you told the truth, you would be violating the law and found guilty.

It has been six years since the persecution of Falun Gong began. During this period of time, we appealed to Beijing to clarify the facts and expose the persecution. We encountered many tribulations and difficulties. We suffered unimaginable torment in body and mind. Dafa disciples have sacrificed their lives in order to help the world's people see the brutality of the CCP. We used our compassionate hearts and peaceful means to fight against the persecution and the tyranny. This has become an accepted fact. The lies are falling apart and being exposed one by one. As their lies and schemes can no longer be sustained, the CCP has once again launched its "advancement" propaganda education. This kind of deception has poisoned many sentient beings, including children.

Children don't understand this. Adults can teach them how to become good people and help them understand our nation's ancient civilization and traditional culture. Nonetheless, nowadays, with acts of deception being so common, who should come to wake up these people? Being compassionate is an act of mercy. Exposing the evil is also merciful. Let's use our righteous thoughts to completely eliminate the Chinese Communist specters that turn black into white and persecute all beings. Let's return the universe to the state of a bright place. We are absolutely not getting political, nor are we against anybody. When people say that we are against the CCP, I say that it is not worthy of us being against it. We are only exposing the persecution that it is being carried out against kind-hearted people, exposing the reality that has been warped by the CCP culture, and saving people through awakening their conscience. Does following "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and teaching people to be kind mean you are guilty? If so, what is 'not guilty'? Is it that you can only " be on the same line as the Party"?

The CCP says that we're sabotaging the legal system. The right to appeal is given to every citizen by the law. What crime did we commit if we appeal according to the law?
