(Clearwisdom.net) The police arrested Ms. Zhang Lianxiu, 60, together with two Falun Gong practitioners on May 31, 2005. Officers from the Shangqiu Police Department battered Ms. Zhang Lianxiu on June 2 and she died from the beatings. The whereabouts of the other two Falun Gong practitioners are unknown.

Mr. Li Jingang, 49, was a resident of Bin County, Heilongjiang Province. Mr. Li started to practice Falun Gong in April 1996 and experienced a dramatic improvement in his body and mind. After the authorities started to persecute Falun Gong, Li Jingang persisted in practicing. He went to Beijing in June 2000 to appeal for Falun Gong, but as a result was illegally imprisoned for two months. In November 2001 Li Jingang was again illegally arrested by the local police and imprisoned for one month. The two prison times and resultant tortures enormously harmed his health. His body showed signs of serious illnesses, with the symptoms persisting for a long time. He passed away on January 4, 2005.

Ms. Pan Shuxian, 65, was a resident of Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. She started to practice Falun Gong in 1998. Prior to Falun Gong practice Pan Shuxian had many kinds of illnesses. Extensive and lengthy treatments did not help. When the symptoms became serious she couldn't even walk. After she started to practice Falun Gong, her body and mind improved and benefited. Within a few short months, all of the many health problems from which she suffered had vanished into thin air. Jiang Zemin began the persecution on July 20, 1999, and Pan Shuxian had a relapse of brain illness in the spring of 2000 and died.

Ms. Wang Cuifen, who is in her 60s, was a physician of Chinese medicine in Gucheng County, Hebei Province. In the spring of 1998 she started to practice Falun Gong, and all of her illnesses vanished. After July 20, 1999, when the persecution began, her family members feared that she would get into trouble, so they forbade her from practicing Falun Gong. Wang Cuifen had a heart attack in the spring of 2004 and passed away.

Ms. Jiang Guixian, 52, was a resident of Zhengkou Town in Gucheng County, Hebei Province. After July 20, 1999 when the evil regime began suppressing Falun Gong, she was arrested and sent to a brainwashing class. Policeman Shao Li and others confiscated her family's property. The cadre of the division, along with 610 Office personnel, frequently threatened her. During the summer of 2000 she had a brain hemorrhage and died a sudden death.

Ms. Jia Xiushun was a resident of Qinghanzhen Village in Gucheng City, Hebei Province. In 1998 she started to practice Falun Gong, and all her illnesses disappeared. She was a changed person. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, she was arrested, sent to a brainwashing class, and fined. Because Jia Xiushun was afraid, she gave up the practice. She died soon thereafter of illness in January 2001.
