Village Supervisor Protects Falun Gong Practitioners

Village Supervisor Protects Falun Gong Practitioners

In mid-May, the Assistant Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) committee told a village supervisor that his superiors wanted him to supply them with the names of Falun Gong practitioners. However, the supervisor told him, "You can call them and tell them that there are no practitioners in the village."

The village supervisor later told me that he would be paid 3,000 to 5,000 yuan for each arrested Falun Gong practitioner.

When I asked whether it was easy for a farmer to make so much money, he simply replied, "Nowadays the police no longer do their real job but waste their time on stuff they are not supposed to do."

Upon hearing this, I felt happy for the supervisor, because he will surely be rewarded with future blessings for protecting Falun Gong practitioners.

Officials Ask Me for Software to Break Through the Internet blockade

I meet many local government officials because of my job. They consider me to be a "computer expert." A few times they even asked me for software to help break the government-sponsored Internet blockade, in order to get truthful information, including reports about mass resignations from the CCP.

At their request, I installed "Freegate" and other tools on their computers, demonstrated its use, and taught them how to connect successfully.

What surprised me was that I saw a shortcut to "Ultrasurf" (similar to "Freegate") on the desktop of a computer in a government office, which seemed available for shared use. When I ran the program, it was easy to get to the homepage of "Ultrasurf" and to access the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" from its web page.
